  • It is an amazing opportunity that has lots of merits and has taught me many things. It is also a ton of fun. The social opportunities are endless and it generally always left me feeling happy.

  • Amazing experience! I will remember these two weeks for the rest of my life!

  • I really enjoyed this summer course. I made new friends and I really liked all the activities, days trips, as well as student helpers and my tutor. The course itself was pretty interesting, and I learned so many things. I gained a lot through this experience and I highly recommend it to whoever is interested on doing Oxford Summer Courses. :-)

  • It was one of the best things I've ever done. I met so friendly people there. The staff was very kind and I could have always talked to them if I had had a problem. Worcester college, the place where I stayed, was so nice. It was almost like a paradise. It was really great, but unfortunately it's over. However, memories remain.

  • In the two weeks of Oxford Summer Courses there was so much to do that I didn't even realise how quickly the time passed. The classes were very interesting and I learnt things that no text books will teach us as the tutor talked about his own experiences in the field of Chemistry. The group leaders were extremely polite, helpful and friendly and the activities they made us to were full of fun and involved different types of skills. They gave us a lot of independent time as we could roam around the city on our own during the day and this taught us how to live an independent life in the future. Oxford Summer Courses has made me a different person altogether as j learnt social interaction and also things in my favourite subject Chemistry. I would like to thank all the group leaders and organisers and my tutor for giving me such a brilliant experience.

  • I had an incredible time at Oxford summer courses. Working with a passionating faculty and meeting people from all over the world. I had the opportunity to work on two really wide subjects but also enjoyed myself a lot during cultural and icebreaking activities.Life on campus is really enjoyable as well.

  • These two weeks inspired me and gave me the courage to apply to Oxford University. Not only is every aspect of the course well planned and amazingly fun, but everyone involved is also genuinely engaged in studying what they love. My only regret is that I did not sign up earlier!

  • 2 weeks that changed meIn it's own way, OSC was like a different world and different life to the one I have at home. One big impact on me is that it gave me a lot of confidence in myself as I was fortunate enough to have the entire group of 16-17 year old being some of the friendliest people I've ever met. Though this could also be because none of us really knew each other, generally it gave me confidence in my social skills and being in an environment surrounded by well educated, smart and kind people with similar interests for their lives was really refreshing. One thing I know many of us were slightly bothered about was the lack of freedom when going to different places (like London), it was all a bit of a rush crammed in with visits to museums that some of us (not all, I for one had never been to any of the museums so was curious) had no interest in being in. It felt a bit restricted in a sense. That also goes for the dorm rules, I think many of us went in expecting this to be more of a "University experience" and from a teenager's point of view having tutors knocking on bedroom doors and sending students back to their rooms like on a high school trip for year 9's, I guess would be the only niggle one would have with the whole experience. (Though of course, on the other hand there is a fire health and safety reason for this) My experience at Oxford Summer Courses is one I will never forget. Meeting people from all around the world, making new friends, learning so much about different people’s culture and ways of life. I was also able to explore Oxford and see the gorgeous town. My leadership course was interesting as it involved a lot of debating and much more critical thinking than I expected – the frequent debates meant that I had to always be on the ball and interact with the teacher and the class as in this course the students are also the teachers for themselves and for each other due to the frequent debates and discussions about what truly makes a good leader. The course was great as it consisted of different methods of self-improvement and taught me how to grow as a leader and as a person. Our tutors are kind but always eager to push us to think for ourselves and challenge us to do our best. I chose this course as I want to go into” Business Psychology and Management” at University and believe my skills are less academic related and more general society related and wanted to improve my skills in this topic. I also learned that leadership is such an important attribute in almost all situations and I recommend that all should consider how to improve their leadership and I believe that this course can do that successfully

  • Best time ever. Cannot over exaggerate how much fun I had.

  • Very knowledgeable and very fun. Apart from the knowledge imparted to me by credible tutors but it's the type of learning and socialising atmosphere that makes me miss oxford! It really helped me broaden my perspective generally about the world and just the right kind of motivation for the rest of ur academic period when u return to ur home countries plus I found some genuinely cool friends.

  • Good summer course. Got the true Oxford experience

  • Oxford Summer Courses was an experience of a lifetime. I was challenged academically but was supported every step of the way, and so I took away invaluable study skills that have aided me in my academic life back home. Not only this, but the social aspect of the course was brilliant, with day trips every week and activities planned daily to provide the perfect balance to the study timetable. The only thing I would have liked to change would have been a more accurate guideline syllabus for one of the subjects I took- the information I was sent prior to the course for International Relations did not really resemble the syllabus we ended up following at all, and I would have chosen a different second subject had I received this information prior. However, the Psychology course was exceptional. All in all, I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone wanting to explore Oxford, push themselves academically and create memories and friendships to last a lifetime!

  • Being a part of OSC was so good and I miss all the time spent at Somerville, the only thing that need to be added is the topics as there was nothing new for me in studies! Thankyou

  • At Oxford Summer Courses I have learnt so much. Far beyond the interesting and fascinating concepts and ideas discussed inside the classroom, which I put to good use as soon as the course ended, the cultural shock was amazing! I met people from all around the world, and I still talk to them and see them from time to time. This course has opened my mind to new possibilities and has made me challenge everything I once thought I knew. It has also helped me to convince my parents to let me finish the last two years of high school abroad. I would undoubtedly recommend this course to anyone wishing to expand their knowledge and understanding. -Rocío Seoane

  • WORK HARD & PLAY HARD-The biggest thing I learnt through my amazing experience in Oxford in 2016. Highly recommendable in all the aspects, i.e. academic, exposure, personality.

  • I made friends I believe I will have for many years to come. The course itself? Inspiring! It helped seal my decision to pursue a legal career.

  • To Whom This May Concern, Oxford provided me with the tools to not only expand my business knowledge but it changed my perspective based on the environment. Oxford’s cultural diversity helped me share ideas and network with people from all over the world with similar interests. The friends I made at Oxford constructed relationships far beyond the summer course. The support Oxford provides through an intimate classroom setting, allowed me to reach my full potential. Going to Oxford’s Summer Program will supply you with tools to become successful in whatever field you choose to study.

  • It was the most fun thing I have ever experienced.I loved every bit of it and will surely do it again next year

  • The overall ambiance and atmosphere was very peasant and I am so grateful to have made life-lasting friendships. However, an Oxford Summer Course is portrayed as a truly academic experience whilst it is quite disappointing regarding that aspect. There are a very limited number of classes through the two weeks (a total of 14 hours in the span of the two weeks: 3 hours on Mondays and Tuesdays, and 1 hour on Thurdays), which is quite ridiculous in comparison to the price paid. The rest of the time is left for social activities, as well as numerous visits and tours around the city, and occasionally for some homework (mostly Wednesdays). Therefore, I truly did enjoy my time there due to the amazing friends I made, but if I was to give an opinion solely based on the lessons and course, it is not worth that sum of money.

  • My daughter (17) was put in a group aged 13-26.The first day (Sunday) nothing happens so you’d better arrive Monday. That Monday no English teaching was given. Beside the fact that my daughter had difficulties with bonding in the group (made difficult my the big age difference) the first two days were very dissapointing. The housing is poor, the staff friendly. We withdrew our daughter after two days which was caused by both te poor program and her homesickness.Oxford Summer Causea refusee to give a penny back of the large amount we paid, even for the meals (though (restaurants were chosen hours before dinnertime) and the airporttransfer. Alltogether a very dissappointing experience

  • when i first entered the school, it was a big fear for me, because for the first time i will be without my parents, and i wont be familiar with no one. But oxford summer courses changed my perspective in being alone, an managing yourself. i made many friends, and many lovely staff were there to help me.in camp they make you feel home, they listen to you wether you are black or white or chinese or african. the accept every person.finally, the courses were amazing. i did medecine exporers. it was really great because evrything they teach you is a real world problem. my teacher was inspiring and helpful. you learn to much from such a small weekNo words are to describe how much i enjoyed thid camp especially with the ones that were sorrounding me!excellent work, oxford summer coursesregards, shayna katra, lebanon, 12 yrs old

  • I will always remember Oxford Summer Couses as insightful, inspiring and fun!In two weeks I was taught by excellent tutors in historic buildings. Both tutors and course directors were helpful and very patient to answer any questions about the studied subject. But they also were a great help for any organizational uncertainties, which could be solved quickly. Furthermore, I had the chance to meet people from all over the world. That in itself is an incredible event. Adding the fact that all of them had similar interests and ambitions, Oxford Summer Courses was an experience hard to beat. It certainly inspired me to study my subject further. However, there is a star missing and that is for this reason: I went to the Summer Corse, because I was interested due to its academic character. I was consequently a little confused to find that lectures were only two days a week, with an additional tutorial. Personally, I would prefer one or two more lectures (perhaps on the weekend).Oxford Summer Corses was an incredibly motivating and enjoyable two weeks, both on an academic and a personal note. Time flew by. I would recommend the Course for anyone who considers applying to Oxbridge, since it enables you to get a “behind the scenes look” of student life in one of the most attractive Universities there is.Thank you Oxford Summer Corses

  • I loved Oxford summer courses so much. It was one of the best things I have ever done. You learn so much from the teachers, you make friends for life, everyone is so welcoming and you feel just like a big oxford family! All the staff are just like friends and are so funny and kind. I really, really enjoyed it!

  • OSC was absolutely an amazingly awesome experience! Two weeks flew by in a blink of an eye, but memories will stay forever. Throughout the two weeks course, I learned at the same time as having fun! Both through activities and subject chosen. The general atmosphere at OSC was just so welcoming and we all embraced eachother’s cultures. And people there accept who we are, I’ve made some awesome friends there! I would definitely recommend it!

  • The most challenging yet the learning experience that has changed my life

  • I loved every minute of it thanks to the friends I made in the course

  • Courses are Amazing . Friendly teacher assistants and best tutors anyone can ask for, activities are always entertaining , overall it's amazing ( business and finance is the best course in my opinion , I took it and would never regret it

  • OSC was one of the best experiences in my like and I have learnt so much from it. It was one of the most entertaining and educative summer schools that I have taken part in. I have made so many friends and made unforgettable memories that will stay with me indefinitely.

  • Signing up for OSC 2018 was one of the best decisions of my life. I’ve met so many incredible people, including friends, staff members, and tutors. Everything at OSC is exceptional: the excursions, the daily activities, the teaching style, the accommodation... the list goes on. I have come back home with so many new ideas and thoughts regarding the subject I love, and I couldn’t be more thankful.

  • Great learning experience with helping mentors who guided me to excel in my field. This course taught me how to work hard and play hard simultaneously.

  • It’s one of the best experiences of my life and definitely worth the money - tutors, group leaders, and student helper are all really helpful with any questions asked and supported me all the way.

  • It has been pretty good. I think I've learned a lot from my psychology course and I made new friends. Communication from the student helpers to the students could use some work, however, since there were some confusion and last minute information.

  • One of the best summer camps I've been on, everyone was so friendly and enthusiastic. The activities were also quite wide spread, allowing us to do the things we liked. Say trips were fun as the allowed us to go on tours then our own free time. I loved how we got to go to a different restruant each night to experience Oxford better

  • Amazing expiriece! Qualified stuff team, I didnt want to leave the course!

  • The amount of time dedicated to the actual course was in total 14 Hours + Time spent doing homework, 12 in Lectures and 2 in Seminars, if that were to be fixed by completely excluding one of the days spent on the Day Trip, then the quality of the course would increase.Other than what is mentioned above the quality of the teaching was really good as you can experience first hand the teaching of passionate postgraduates in their respective courses, which limits the variety of topics in the course, nonetheless the material covered is pretty useful as it ranges from an introduction in IGCSE topics and it ladders up to undergraduate material. The Food served in breakfast was pretty good, and the restaurants we were invited to served good food. Overall the course was great all thanks to the supervisors who tried to make the activities enjoyable. Thanks for the experience and thanks to the wonderful people I met during my stay.

  • My time in Oxford on the English Language course was spent learning from quality tutors, meeting new friends from all around the world, and experiencing the best of English culture! And the weather was great too!

  • Summer Oxford Program was a life changing experience for me. It changed my life to a great extent. It doesn't help me only with performing better in academics but also gave me a chance to evolve my inter-personality skills as well. The program was designed so beautifully for the young adults. The Summer course program engaged students both academically and socially. The teaching faculties were so understanding. They gave a complete attention with new insights to your respective subject. The program also encourages students to participate in various co-curricular activities and boost them up to interact with other international students. The experience was quite unforgettable which I will carry along throughout my life. I highly recommend this to every young individual out there who is looking for meaning to their career.

  • The experience I made with OSC has been very good. I spent a two-week summer course at Cambridge studying Leadership - well, officially. Due to the small size of the group, we had the possibility to talk about things which haven’t been included in the curriculum e.g. politics, international relations. The exchange with students from all around the world have been a valuable experience, not only because there are plenty of nice people, rather because of the multicultural exchange of opinions on current topics.

  • As a kid, I never really got a chance to have a world-class education. I was a shy student and I didn't have the self-confidence to express myself and to trust my instincts that I could do better. Then I attended the Oxford Summer Courses and it changed my view about learning and made me believe that education could be fun. The teachers had excellent knowledge of their specific subject and they taught us in such a way that we would understand the concept and not get bored at the same time. The activities that are included demand each and every individual to get involved in them and everyone learns and benefits a lot from other's experiences and stories. Accommodation, food, transportation, and course planning was way better than satisfactory. It felt like someone's always there to help you if you need it. The connections that I made with my peers will definitely last a lifetime. This experience changed me into becoming a better and confident person. I would definitely recommend others to attend this course and have one of the best summer vacations of their lives.

  • EXHILARATING EXPERIENCEEXHILARATING EXPERIENCEI have learnt so much, from my summer in oxford. The best parts for me were, my course (Leadership) and all the amazing friends and connections, I made. Everything, that I learnt in oxford, was from a global point of view which made me increase my knowledge not only about Leadership, but also about how things operate globally. It is great in terms expanding the horizon and learning more. I made amazing friends, hailing from all parts of the world, which made me experience different cultures and languages. There so much to learn, absorb and connect, that I ended up coming back from oxford as a different and more learned person, altogether. The entire experience is so unique for everyone. The beautiful gardens, experience of punting, churches, and connecting with great people just cannot be missed.

  • I had the time of my life and I would highly recommend this to anyone.Everything was nearly perfect right from the beautiful campus, spacious dorm rooms, eating dinner together every night, studying together, watching movies in the common room, learning to punt, going out partying, exploring all the sights and the lasting friendships I have made over the course of 2 weeks. I had 3 other people in my class and our tutor was extremely passionate and knowledgeable. Our 3 hour classes were mainly spent in being taught a topic and then we'd have heated debates or deep discussions relating to the subject, 1 on 1 tutorials to discuss our skills, how to improve on them and futures career options. My only complain is that I wish we had more classes and study work than activities but the experience was well worth it!

  • This course was lots of fun. As a student I thought is was quite informational and covered the subject of Business and Entrepreneurship thoroughly. I think that the amount of time spent on academics was sufficient but could have been a bit more focused on, however, the activities we did were always a blast and no one had a bad time. The day trios were well planned and gave us enough time to do as we pleased, and still have enough time for sight seeing. We all became very close as it was a small group of about 15-20 people. I would say the breakfast could have been better as it was never varied, but meals we went out to (dinners and some lunches) were quite nice and better than most other summer courses would offer. The dorms were alright, dated and not excessively comfortable but not bad. Overall, this course was fun and I enjoyed my experience, I would definitely recommend it.

  • In general organized. But when checking in, dropping my daughter off on a Sunday, a bit of a wait. Because kids move in and out every week, some beds (space) were not cleaned nor ready. My daughter finds the curriculum on the easier end of the spectrum. But most importantly, we sent her for the social experience and problem solving aspects when we're not there to help. This part was totally worth it. My daughter is still keeping in touch with the girls she met during the two week. The field trips on Saturdays were awesome and memorable (London Zoo and Harry Potter world). In general I would recommend the program to others interested.

  • My 4 weeks at Oxford were an extraordinary experience, in which I got the chance to not only learn about subjects I am passionate about, but I got a taste of what life at University is like, I got to visit several colleges and many touristic places. The course provided very friendly staff and I made friends for life, and memories I will cherish forever. The overall experience was amazing, I got to study, visit different places, take part in fun activities, and make friends. I truly recommend it if you are interested in studying and having fun at same time.

  • Oxford Summer Courses was an amazing experience. The connections I made will last a lifetime. I learnt many valuable lessons not just in my selected course of medicine but also, what university life is like. I received an introductory taste to tertiary study and after the experience feel I am equipped with many real world skills. I would highly recommend the program to all students wishing to try a course they may be considering for post high school study. Not only do you get to learn from world class tutors but learn many social and team based skills along the way. The program really equips students with the knowledge to pursue tertiary study.

  • In my opinion Oxford Summer Courses offer students a unique experience with a balance between academic and social activities. I had attended a Law course last year, which was a great way for me to familiarize with and acquire knowledge about the field of legal studies and confirm that my choice to study Law and pursue a career in the legal sector. I am currently a Law undergraduate and I am really excited to take part in the Student Ambassador Programme of the Bridgemark Network and contribute towards this project.

  • I found this course to be the perfect balance of education and time to explore the city and spend time with people from all over the world. I found that the smaller groups in which we ate each night allowed for the formation of close friendships that will last a lifetime. The small class sizes also allowed for the best education experience as you became instantaneously comfortable with your class and professor which allowed you to gain the most from the seminars and tutorials. The staff were amazing and it is a summer I will never forget

  • I liked going to South Kensington, most of the activities were fun. Some of the day trips were really boring. We walked 20km everyday, it sucked. The teachers would get me in trouble for no reason. We barely had any freedom. The classes are wayyyyy too long. 3 hours of one class, everyone fell asleep.

  • Loved to experience Oxford and its culture and history over the course of 2 weeks. Whilst studying a subject that I am most passionate about (English Literature) I have now also made life-long friends from all around the world. Thank you to OSC for a short, but great summer!

  • It was a very good experience and I made friends from all over the world and learned more about the british culture..

  • The academic experience was excellent, my teacher being very kind and extremely prepared. However, this being a summer course, there weren't nearly as many hours of lessons as I think there should be. Furthermore, any kind of communication ( a part from when it came to paying) before arrival is faulty if not lacking.... for example they told me to pay an insurance which I later found out was totally useless, and there was little or no info given about the course itself even when I telephoned or wrote (how many hours of lessons, who would be the teacher, to which city and college I had been assigned...). It came to the point when my family started to think it was a fraud. For such an expensive course, I would expect activities to be well-organised, particularly when it came to excursions... turns out they just drop you at the place and give you a timing at which you need to be back to the bus. Even some workshops seemed to be chosen randomly. The accommodation was ok even if cleaning service was disgusting: the room was cleaned two days after arrival and then no more for twelve more days. When I asked if where I could get clean towels I wasn't given an answer. The last point I really think you should work on is... money. At times it felt like everything was revolving around it: for example at dinnertime we were sometimes denied our choice for a difference of 0.20£. However, as I said early on, teaching was excellent... hence the three stars. Also, everyone in my group was stimulating and interesting, so there was a friendly and pleasing atmosphere throughout the whole two weeks. Overall I would say it was a good experience, but way too expensive.

  • Finding a place where knowledge, fun, and adventure come together gets pretty challenging nowadays. With Oxford Summer Courses, I found that place. I chose Oxford Summer Courses to experience what life at a university in the UK would be like. I ended up reaching my initial goal while making everlasting friendships, discovering new places and efficiently learning about the course I had chosen. My favorite memory this summer would have to be our last day trip to Bath. That evening was unforgettable since we were having a picnic where all our group leaders and all of the other student were simply enjoying each other’s company. The course itself was incredibly beneficial. All tutors were trained professionals who had clear and organized programs. We touched on sensitive topics where I was able to explore the different cultures and backgrounds people came from. There weren’t long lectures yet there were many small group talks which made it easy for me to learn what I needed and it also meant that I was always focused on. For example, in the Medicine course I chose, we were learning about sutures. Our tutor, therefore, offered each student a skin model on which they could practice many kinds of sutures. At first, I had found it extremely complex to do so but after a short amount of time, thanks to my tutor’s help, I nailed it!Oxford Summer Courses granted me the experience of a lifetime; an experience I will never forget.

  • Oxford summer courses has made the summer of 2018 the best one I’ve had so far. This was the first time I’ve ever gone for a summer course as well as being away from my parents and hometown for so long. I wasn’t as scared when I arrived at St Benet’s hall because I had the comforting face of one of my best childhood friends over there. Not to mention the incredibly nice and welcoming staff who were soon to become great friends of mine. Our dinner on the first day is what really began the formation of lifelong friendships with a lot of the people there.Over the course of 2 weeks in oxford I learned an intermediate level of computer science, learned how to punt as well as a few other sports, responsibility for myself and belongings(being away from my home), and about many people’s cultures and how they differ from the stereotype of those countries portrayed in tv shows and movies. The boys lived in a different building than the girls around a 15 mins walk from the main campus. We dreaded it for the first few days but eventually we got used to it and it used to be a good bonding time for all of us. There was a ping pong table in our building as well which, as soon as it was set up, we played every single night from the time we got back till the time for lights out. The breakfast and lunch they provide are for all cultures and there is a wide variety to select from. The lessons were also a bit of a walk away at another campus called the Somerville College. Those were for 3 hours, classes were only of 4-5 people so the lessons were very interactive and we all really got more out of them. That was followed by a 1 hour lunch and then workshop/ study time and free time. The timetable was really well balanced to provide an equal amount of academic learning and skill development. In Cambridge and Oxford there was a lot of walking from one destination to the next so it really taught everyone a lot about the cities and how they differ from students’ own places to which they call home. Cambridge pretty much followed the same timetable however their accommodation was nicer as it wa more modern. However, the residence at oxford felt more like a home than a campus so I can’t really say which is better. I studied math in Cambridge under Mr. Simon Mullen and he taught me more than I would’ve probably learned in 4-5 weeks at my own school, that too of topics at A – level difficulty. It was truly a eye – opening experience and I am all the better for it. I highly recommend Oxford Summer courses to anyone looking for a summer to spend making new friends, learning amazing things or just to have a genuine fun time.

  • Spending two weeks at Cambridge this summer with Oxford Summer Courses was easily one of the best experiences of my life. Academically, the courses offered were diverse and interesting, perfect if one wants to focus on a subject that may not be typically offered at school. For example, my course in Medicine was something that I’ve always had a passion for, but never had the opportunity to study at school. Looking back, Oxford Summer Courses was life-changing for me because it both exposed me to the subject of medicinal biotechnology and helped me confirm what I want to do in the future, which is to pursue a medical career. The class environment was comfortable, encouraging, and facilitated an exchange of ideas. My tutor had extensive knowledge about the subject, and she was very caring, approachable and supportive; I felt like I could always ask her questions about the material we were covering in class or about her specific career path in the medical field. Outside of the classroom, we were able to tour and get to know Cambridge as a university and a town, and went on day trips to places such as London and Warwick Castle twice a week. Through these fun, cultural activities, I was able to learn more about England and experience university life at Cambridge. I am very thankful for the opportunity that I had to meet people from so many different parts of the world. Each of us had different stories and experiences to share, but we all became very close over the time we spent together at Cambridge.I would definitely recommend spending one’s summer with Oxford Summer Courses!

  • Oxford Summer Courses was an amazing experience. I finally understood what studying at the university is, the subjects were very focused and with an amusing way of learning, explained by amazing teachers and Teacher Assistants in different part of the city. The activities were useful in a social and educational experiences. OSC is a two, or four, weeks programme that challenged you in various aspects, such as homesickness and planning your own money which prepared you for your next independent university lifestyle. I met, during this summer programme, amazing people for life; the best part of the programme is that everyone is new and does not know other people, so you get along with each other immediately.Oxford Summer Courses is a perfect way to get ready for university in all its aspect, and it is great value and well worth the money considering all the experiences you have during the programme.

  • It was really amazing. I loved it. I learned a lot and I met new people! I enjoyed my time there. I recommand it to everyone who like new adventures!

  • One of the best decisions I ever made was coming to Oxford Summer Courses. The reason I applied to OSC is that I always felt interested in business and how our rapidly changing world affects companies. The Future MBA Course at OSC seemed like an extraordinary opportunity to gain more knowledge on this subject. Little did I know that it would give me so much more than that.I took part in a one-week Spring Course for 16-17 years olds in 2019 at Oxford. Already the application and preparation process prior to the actual course was surprisingly fun and comfortable. The staff was happy to help with any questions of mine and the communication via email was also very serviceable. I felt very secure about coming to the course thanks to the student handbook and other informative documents. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by the awesome and cool course staff who have made the whole week a lot easier and more fun for us. Throughout the week we had challenging and thought-provoking lessons with our tutor. We also visited a number of different subject-related locations at Oxford and got to meet many inspiring people in the field. In our afternoons we always had various group programs like punting, presentations, networking possibilities, lectures and a trip to London. Considering all this it was also easy to get to know the other students on the course. Now I am proud to say that I have friends from all over the world. What I would definitely like to highlight is the way we as students were treated. Not once during the course did I feel like I was dominantly inferior to my tutor or all the other staff. We always had opportunities to bring in our own ideas and discuss topics as equal conversation partners, which I truly find important. As you can see, OSC is definitely something exceptional. You will not only be richer with plenty of subject-specific knowledge but friendships, social skills, teamwork, inspiration and last but not least, all this while having a whole lot of fun. I absolutely recommend it.

  • Every student dream about studying in one of the top ten university’s in the world, Oxford University it’s a world hide recognized university, one of those ten. I´ve had the pleasure to do it!In 2019 I decided to try one of OC (Oxford Summer Courses) on Law, there was a two week and one-week program, I’ve done the one-week program 18-24-year-old. Has a student of Law I thought that I should learn more about the Common Law and that’s why I enter this journey to Oxford. It was an amazing experience. As a student I’ve had an Amazing Tutor who gave me six hours per day lections, two court sessions, two discussions about the Role of The Jury on the Common Law, two workshop’s and a Final Presentation on Law and Technology. The social events were amazing, we had networking dinners, lectures and some sightseeing. I´ve made lots of contacts for the future and many friends! I would do it all again, only have good reviews and experiences, I would like to thank the wonderful and carrying STAFF that we had, tutors and the organization members who started this programs in 2010 and made this happen!!

  • My opinion on Oxford Summer Courses:In my opinion, I think Oxford Summer Courses is an amazing way to create new relationships with people from different countries and gain experience from another. Also, the extra activities which are provided after lesson times are excellent because they are always very enjoyable and entertaining. Furthermore, this course is a great way to have your own independence, such as: having your own room and doing your own laundry!Overall, it is a fascinating experience and I would recommend anyone to do this course; who are between 12 - 17 years old.Ivan

  • The two weeks I spent with Oxford Summer Courses were some of the best of my life. I'm certain that this trip will be something that I will always remember fondly; and something that I'm sure I will be remembered for! Embarrassingly enough, I showed up for my courses in Oxford (I was staying at St. Benet's Hall) a day early! Somehow I had misread the email, given my parents the wrong dates, and we had scheduled our whole trip around a flawed calendar. While I felt a slight panic at the gravitas of my mistake, the staff at Benet's were incredibly welcoming and understanding. They allowed me to leave my things and offered me a bed for the night; luckily, my parents were staying in a flat in London, so I was able to return with them, but the mere promises of accommodation and kindness shown to me in a moment of vulnerability made it clear to me from the beginning that this was going to be an incredible experience. The rest of the course did not disappoint, but exceeded my wildest hopes and imaginations. When I arrived the next day (the correct day) I was once again embraced by warmth from the staff and was greeted by many smiling faces from the other students who had already arrived. The students were so incredible; I found it invaluable to converse with many of them about their home countries and lives, as I was one of 3 out of 50 students from the United States and therefore enjoyed learning about the different cultures this diverse group of students was coming from. As for the classes themselves, they were phenomenal. My tutor was well informed, friendly, and professional. Our class dialogues were passionate and entertaining, the books we read challenging and well-written, and our day trips were educational and fascinating. I took the creative writing class and would highly recommend it to anyone else who enjoys literature and wants to learn more about Oxford! I cannot recommend this course enough. As I make my plans for this summer I am sad to say that I will not have time to attend Oxford again this year, though I wish I could. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to connecting with one of my Swiss friends I made on the course, as we're spending a few days together this summer; our friendship is a true testament to the fact that the connections you make during this course form a bond that can last forever and knows no limitations.

  • Attending the two week Medicine course in Oxford last summer was the most unique holiday and learning experience of my life. Over the course of the two weeks I received amazing teaching from a tutor who was extremely passionate, and gave an insight into what studying medicine is really like, making every step of the journey interesting and challenging.I got to meet new people from all over the world and made bonds that will last a lifetime with some of the most amazing and most caring, diverse people.Everything about the course itself was perfect: the cozy dorms and the movie nights and late night chats in them, the lovely staff working there, exploring the beautiful city of Oxford, the stunning day trips we had to places like Bath and Warwick castle, the new experiences we got to try such as punting, the different dinner locations every night and the post-dinner activities we got to do like bowling and various workshops.I had an enriching, unforgettable time and seriously recommend it to anyone. Words cannot fully express how incredible it was and how grateful I am that I got to spend my summer there.

  • In July 2018 I spent two amazing weeks at the Oxford Summer Course. It is and experience I will never forget; I received amazing teaching from the nicest teacher in the mornings until lunchtime, and spent the afternoons meeting people and making friends from all over the world, while participating in workshops such as "Dragon's Den" and "Social Media Campaigns". We also went on day-excursions to places such as "the Roman Baths" in Bath and "Warwick Castle". All in all it was an enriching educating experience, that never sacrificed the fun and well-being of us students.

  • In July 2018, I left for Oxford from the busy, bustling city of Hong Kong, and there is nothing that I regret about this experience. I took the two week Law course in Oxford, age 13-15, and this was nothing but amazing. I learnt not only information about Law, I also learnt practical skills, and formed friendships that will never end. Not only does this course provide high quality education regarding your chosen subject, it also allows you to genuinely experience Oxford as a whole. We visited multiple museums, both in Oxford and in London, we went to top tourist destinations, and we even went on the best scavenger hunt ever.My tutor was the most hard working person I had ever met. She went past what she needed to do, and she was ever so willing to take that extra step for us students to make the learning experience better. She did mock trials with us, and gave us a first person experience of working in a law industry. She gave us an insight to many aspects of law, and educated us extremely well.Soon, I will be returning for a four week course, in Oxford and Cambridge. I have missed the beautiful university, and I look forward to meeting new friends and becoming even more acquainted with Oxford. Memories last forever, and I can assure you that the memories you make and the friendships you bridge will never be forgotten at this course.

  • Exciting and interesting!I loved my experience at Oxford Summer Courses in London. It was different from any other Summer experience I had had before, because of the interesting classes, numerous well thought activities, and the great atmosphere. The responsible adults were respectful, helpful and friendly, while still allowing us a lot of freedom. I had an unforgettable time.

  • I have experienced many first times here in Oxford. I joined a two-week intensive English course. It's my first time travelling solo. When I was alone in Oxford, I had to take full responsibility of my own, which pushed me out of my comfort zone. I learnt to do research on the possible tourist destinations that I might visit on weekends. I visited Ashmolean Museum, Botanic Garden, History of Science Museum and the Bodleian library after school and during weekends. I was fond of the antique architectures here! The English teacher was great. And I had a taste of "western" kind of teaching style: interaction, interaction and interaction! Honestly, at first I was not very used to it, but as I got to know my classmates who were from different parts of the world I enjoyed this interactive mode of learning. It's my first time to Oxford which is an amazingly beautiful city. It's also my first time to punt. Although I am not a talented punter and the boat was difficult to manoeuvre, I enjoyed the peaceful setting. It's a great way to relax after a hard day's study.I would definitely recommend it! Make your holidays extraordinary!

  • In July 2017, I attended two courses with Oxford Summer Courses. One of them was History in Christ Church, Oxford, while the other was Law in Cambridge. I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed not only the classes themselves, taught by real Oxbridge students and professors, but also by the extracurricular activities that were organized for us, such as punting, touring London and other landmarks, or simply exploring the towns we were staying at in our own free time. Both classes consisted on a bunch of hours a week of one-on-one teaching, a method I considered amazing at the time and still do because you understand your errors and the class is focused constantly on one and not a lot of other students. That makes the class discussions much more personalized to your own interest and I found that I learned much more that way, because the questions I made were answered. In both Law and History there was another student with me, so there were discussions created between us to students with the teacher, and the different points of views discussed there gave incredible insights into a study area that I had never even thought about before. We had to write essays, one of which I am still correcting to this day because I loved the theme of the death penalty so much. The people I met are unforgettable individuals with whom I shared many different moments. Even though I met each one of them for only two weeks, and that might not be considered a lot of time, but we forged unforgettable bonds that last even to this day. The connections made with people from all around the world are surprising. I thought that there would not be that many different people, but there were from Spain to Russia to Costa Rica and Jordan to Australia, all from different continents. That was probably the most shocking thing; the divergence of people. And I loved it.I recommend Oxford Summer Courses completely. It offers amazing classes and an amazing experience overall. England is a beautiful country and the towns, Cambridge and Oxford, are just as stunning, simply walking down the street is already amazing and more if you make friends with the other people that go to the courses. You will make lasting friendships with people from all around the world. It is completely worth it.

  • My son attending the Wycombe Abbey programme for 2 weeks and absolutely loved it. I was really amazed at the feedback he gave me during our catch ups. He loved the inspiring small classes where he got hands on experience on creating a computer game as part of his tech explorer course. Or during his enterprise explorer course, he created fascinating adverts for his marketing campaign, and grew his entrepreneurship spirit.Since the first day, he immediately made friends with others from across the globe, and really enjoyed the groups activities like water polo. The trips he took was another huge highlight like the Harry Potter studio and the Black Country Living Museum. In just two weeks, I noticed my son undergo a transformational experience which resulted in him growing his confidence, social skills, adaptability and independence. It has been such a valuable summer that I've already signed my son up for another summer course but this time in Cambridge.

  • I have attended Oxford Summer Courses for two years and I loved it due to the wonderful classes that I learned so much in. It was also amazing to meet people from different countries and different backgrounds and learn in such a diverse group. I also liked that the classes were in small groups which meant our teacher could help all of us easily. The activities that I attended in the afternoons and evening were all superb and interesting. My favourite was undoubtedly punting, but I loved all of them. The staff were helpful and friendly, and I felt that I could talk to them. I fully intend to return next year.

  • I spent two weeks at Stanford in the Summer and enjoyed every moment of it. I met some amazing friends. Although I was initially nervous about travelling on my own and meeting so many new people I found it easy to settle in and make friends.I really enjoyed all the classes and found them all interesting and challenging. It allowed my to explore subjects I had not previously come into contact with often in fun and interesting ways. In addition to the classes we participated in lots of fun activities like going to a baseball match or exploring pier 39. The course allowed me to gain independence as well as find out more about studying at a University in the US

  • Attending OSC was a life-changing experience, and I hope to participate in the course again. I had applied to study law. It had been a life-long dream of mine to visit Oxford, not to mention study there. Like anybody else, when I was driving up, my stomach was filled with butterflies. However, the moment that I had stepped into the house that I would be staying at for two weeks, all of those worries had disappeared. I felt welcomed and ready to begin a new adventure. Instantaneously, we had all become friends. We still speak to this day! Like I had said before, I was studying law. My tutor was wonderful. He had shown me a side of the law that I would have never been able to see myself and continues to not only help me in my education but also with my morals. This is a program that helped me learn more about my future profession, make new bonds and lifelong friendships, but not only that, it helped me grow as a person and I will forever be grateful.

  • This summer I spent two weeks at Oxford Summer Courses studying International Relations and Politics. This course was life changing, and an experience I will never forget. I learned so much in those two short weeks and since the class sizes are small I was able to really talk to my tutor, ask questions and get feedback on my work. This course sparked my interest in IR and politics and I am now looking at courses available at my school in this subject. The program at Oxford Summer Courses is absolutely amazing, as it is a well rounded and encompassing course. Not only do you have the opportunity to learn from amazing tutors, but day trips to nearby towns and other activities including palace and museum tours, classical music concerts, and punting down the river give you a feel for the culture and an understanding of the history of the country. This course also gives you a chance to meet people from around the world. During this program I met the most amazing people and formed great friendships with them, something I never would have been able to do without attending the course. Traveling across the world to attend a course where I knew no one was a little nerve-racking, but as soon as I arrived I felt welcome and comfortable. I truly cannot express what an amazing course this was, and it is a decision I will be proud of making for the rest of my life.

  • OSC Stanford has changed my future entirely. My stay there consisted of a two-week general knowledge course, where I learned many things. It covered many, many topics such as Cancer Research, Entrepreneurship, Cryptography, Genome, Creative Writing, Critical Thinking and Decision Making. These are merely a few subjects we learned about. Furthermore, the classes offered an insightful look into how lectures are structured. They helped us learn how to take notes from a lecture and how to engage effectively with our teacher and the material.Naturally, the Course was not centred around solely education. As I am naturally introverted, you can take my word for the following. The course opened a whole new view of social life to me. It encouraged me to make friends and lasting bonds. Sitting in the corner on my own had always been a very comfortable lifestyle. However, as it turned out, I was missing out on a whole world of fun, feedback and support. The friends I met were special. For the first time, I was surrounded by people that I could relate to. The friends I made there are still my friends today, multiple months later, and I am convinced that anyone else will build such bonds as well.Every course needs trips. The Stanford course had multiple magnificent trips out of and through Stanford. We got to go to very many interesting places, and we even watched a baseball match. Throughout Stanford, we visited many sites including the anatomy lab. I was afraid, but I wanted to step out of my comfort zone, although there were limits. We also got to see the peers and go around to shop. One of my favourite sits was the museum and the sea lions. One of the activities that we did was to build a country. It was much more a significant project than an exercise, but it was nonetheless a fun adventure. We could use the knowledge that we gathered in out classes to build a country from scratch. We made history, a government, educational system etc. We had to include everything a working state needed. Our groups usually consisted of about 8-12 people (don't take my word for it), and we were able to present our country at the end with either a skit or a song. In conclusion, OSC Stanford was a magnificent experience. It supported me in connecting to a whole different part of my life. I came out a changed person with a new personality on standby. It gave me insight into what university would be like and how my day would look. The friends I made were always ready for fun, learning and socialising. The country building exercise helped me connect with new people, solve problems and work in a group. Finally, I just wanted to express my sincere thanks to the course for letting me participate, and I am sure that every person to sign up will have changed in a considerably positive way once they come back.

  • Spending two weeks at Stanford this summer was truly an enlightening and exciting experience for me. It was my first time ever travelling to America and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Upon my arrival, I was greeted warmly by fellow students and counsellors, which instantly made me feel like a part of this large group of new people. Everyone was extremely kind, open, smart and funny, which made it very easy to become friends and establish connections. The program included many different classes so that every day we were taught a new subject. Cancer genomics, democracy, math: selection of stock markets, leadership, cryptography, human anatomy and phenomena of lights were some of the most interesting classes for me personally. The unforgettable lesson activities went from investigating real lungs, a heart and a brain to making our own holograms provided me with useful and interesting information that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Besides regular classes, we had a long-term project for the whole 2 weeks where we got put into groups with random students and came together to create our own country, with focus on the main aspects of running a country e.g. politics, economy and trade, environmental sustainability, defence control, immigration and assimilation. During this project, I got to work together with my new friends, becoming even closer and use my imagination skills to create the best country possible. During the program we also had day trips to Pier 39, the Stanford Shopping Mall and the city where we got to explore and have fun all together, making memories that will be cherished forever.

  • Oxford Summer Courses has been a great learning experience. The tutors were great and very helpful. The entire organisation of the course was excellent and they maintained a balance between the study and other activities. The Course directors showed us around what Oxford has to offer. All in all, I would recommend high school students to sign up for this course.

  • Oxford Summer Courses is one of those once-in-a-lifetime experiences that you will never forget. Coming from a historical background that restricted much travel, I feel extremely proud of the purpose of OSC: providing education and encouraging global citizenship. I studied Economics, Marketing and Business Management in my first year at OSC at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge. Not only was I exposed to the vast, historical culture of Cambridge, but I was also immersed in a world of focused academia. The programme was educational, entertaining, and enlightening. The next year I attended the Stanford programme that OSC and Stanford Pre-Collegiate International Institutes partnered together for. Again, this was an incredible experience substantiated by a focus education and an entertaining programme. I would highly recommend this programme for anyone!

  • Firstly, I would like to thank the wonderful team of Oxford Summer Course for rendering the opportunity to make my summer meaningful and thoughtful I can say with my strongest intuitions that the program above is very helpful to all the students it gives you a glimpse on the subject of your interest . Moreover skills like leadership,team-work and research are carefully nurtured giving everyone a equal opportunity within a group, but lastly not only is your academic ability developed through a program like this but also your social understanding ,as one interacts with a diverse group of students interested in various other subjects we know of new advancements in various fields of studies, thus making an individual well informed and knowledgeable, giving him a better view of any agenda Lastly, I would suggest all students to take part in the course, I would surely be a enjoyable and memorable experience

  • Like most students, I had no idea what I wanted to major in when I applied to University. I went to this course in the hopes of narrowing it down. I was honestly scared that I would meet nerdy bookworms who averaged 10 hours a day of studying and would realise how dumb I was in the real world. However, I was so shocked at how similar everyone was to me, how multinational, how sociable and friendly everyone was. Everyone had their own ambitions and actually wanted to find a way to achieve it. Everyone was quick and witty, not academic because they studied all day. Moreover, I loved how diverse everyone was, the different stories and walks of life they came from.We made memories with each other, be it through classes, or exploring the very picturesque towns, or having dinner at different restaurants. We learnt how life would be like outside the safety bubble of high school.I came to Oxford summer courses to find a passion for what I wanted to do in university, and although my choices haven't completely been narrowed, I did find a reason, a drive and motivation to come home every night and put in the hours, it was to come back one day to oxford permanently, and live my life surrounded by people like these

  • It was one of the best experiences I have had in my life. It offers you a mix between studying your subject of choice, where in my personal experience I learned a lot, getting to know people from around the world and getting to know different parts of the UK through trips that are made. It was such an enriching experience, this is why I would repeat it and recommend youth to take it, as I will never forget these past few weeks and the people that i met.

  • Such a fun experience! I met interesting people from all around the world while studying a subject I love in depth. Christ Church college was beautiful and the staff were lovely.

  • Fantastic and very helpfull

  • So much fun. You should definitely go. So many new friends to make and there are lots of activities to take part in and places to explore

  • It has been an amazing experience, I wish I could restart it.

  • THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST 2 WEEKS OF MY LIFE. THE ACTIVITIES, THE STAFF, THE CLASS, THE WORKSHOPS, THE FOOD ALL WERE AMAZING.

  • Oxford Summer Courses was a euphoric experience! It’s more than just studying, they bring you to so many day trips and have so many fun activities planned out. I learned so many things from so many people. For starters, it made me become more independent, and improved my communication skills. The course I took was business and entrepreneurship and I benefited so much from it. ( I had the best teacher ). It gave me a background on the business field, and what it has to offer. I would 100% recommend OSC to friends and family, and would come back next year. Jude Abunayyan

  • Oxford Summer Courses gives an opportunity for an indepth and true experience of being an Oxford student. All the staff, both administrative and academic, are always respectul, punctual and ready to help in every way possible. Amazing people. Highly recommended!

  • I have just returned from my trip to Oxford Christ Church for 2 weeks, studying Philosophy with OSC. All I can say is wow, I am blown away by such a brilliant experience. The organisation prior to the course was not 5*, I think this needs to be worked on a lot. I didn’t get any prep emails telling me what to pack until I was actually there and in my last week of the course. I was also sent a syllabus which was wrong, and I bought all the books with my own money, only to not need any of them when the right one came out. As my company paid for my place on the course for learning and development, they have spent a long time trying to get a VAT receipt only to find out you can’t claim VAT, but the call advisers were not sure of this and kept sending irrelevant documents instead. This aside, the actual course and those on the ground were absolutely amazing which warrants the 5* review. OSC really do care whether you have the experience of a life time and they’ll go the extra mile to ensure that happens. Orlaith, thank you so much for being so understanding and empathetic when life happens! Your kindness doesn’t go unnoticed and thank you for being so organised all the time. Jake, thank you for always being there to sort things if they didn’t go to plan and for always making us laugh, even at 8.20 check ins... Alison, thank you for making sure everyone has an amazing time and being your bubbly, amazing self!Overall my Oxford/Christ Church/OSC experience has been 10/10 and I couldn’t have asked for more!

  • I liked the course a lot. Although I believe that there must be more study time of your particular subject, there are other lectures in a great variety which might interest many of the students. The course also enables many students to socialize with many people from different countries, which share similar passion for the subject, or other activities. The accommodation is very good, the rooms are always clean and the college in which I lived (Brasenose in Oxford) was very carefully chosen, as I was never disturbed by older students. The communication in between the course was amazing, as I could always contact my course director and she actually helped me and other guys once, when we needed it. The tutors are young, but professional in their subject, they can provide information about the university, as many had graduated not long time ago. The staff members are very very strict, but in majority of cases they are just. My transfers to and from airport were very precise, so I had no problems at this stage of the course. Many students claim that there should be more lessons arranged, but at the same time they get tired with the amount that is already present. So I believe, if more lessons are arranged, the evening activities would need to be changed for less academic ones, such as bowling. The only reason I do not put 5 stars is because I believe that the organization of the activities and day trips should be more careful, so that the students can enjoy making photos and not having to rush all the time.

  • Very enjoyable experience! I met so many new and amazing people! The staff was kind and very helpful! There were so many events and activities that I'm a little sad about not being able to do them all. Classes were very good. I'm a little disappointed in the number of classes/tutorials, I expected more. Many lectures were cancelled in my two-week stay... That was a little disappointing... Something that was a little strange to me was at the beginning of the course they took our passports... A friend had experienced the staff misplacing her passport but I had no issues with getting my passport back at the end of the course. Other than that my experience was great! I met so many people, learned, and saw so many things!

  • Amazing experience, Amazing people

  • Doing an Oxford Summer course was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The course seminars were rigorous and inspiring, and the activities program was fun and generally well-planned. The overall experience has given me more confidence in not only my field of study, but in my ability to communicate and connect with people as well. I consider the whole experience to have been extremely valuable and worthwhile.

  • Really good tutors and an overall great experience

  • I met and befriended people who have become a part of my life. The tutors are amazing and the knowledge which one can get is infinite. I have learnt how to socialise and be with people. In two weeks I made a bond which cannot be broken with my friends and also my subject.

  • the courses in India were exceptional. they were far beyond my expectations. i had so much fun. the homely staff members, learning experience, the challenges and the activities had us busy all the time.overall, it was one of a kind experience

  • This summer course was excellent!I really enjoyed my time in Oxford. The tutors were great and their lessons were both entertaining and challenging. The course was well balanced with both hours of lessons and hours of free time where you could go around the city. Overall it was an amazing experience and I really recommend people to try it.

  • This summer course is extremely fun! All the people here are very nice and friendly and the tutors are very good. They give you a lot of freedom to go around the beautiful city of Oxford so you are never bored! I would definitely recommend coming here.

  • My son was very happy, he learned what he expected. He appreciated the social interaction. Superbly organised

  • My daughter who lives in Spain, registered in early 2020 to attend a two-week residential Summer Course in June 2020. Then Covid-19 struck and June came and went until we ended up postponing it until late summer. That was also not possible and she pushed it into summer 2021. However, due to Covid-19 travel restrictions on foreign travel and unforeseen adverse circumstances, it became impossible for Moira to attend this year also.At all stages of this saga Oxford Summer Courses representatives provided a comprehensive and professional service. Sayantani Mitra was my contact and she provided Moira and me with an exceptional standard of communication, information and thoughtfullness from beginning to end.If my assumption that Sayantani has colleagues of equivalent standards is correct, then Oxford Summer Courses should consider themselves very fortunate. She and a colleague hosted a Webinar on Meet as an induction to the course. It was managed perfectly. Questions posed were answered thorughly. The information was comprehensive. When it came to the point that Moira could not attend, Oxford Summer Courses is standing by their pledge to refund our deposit. Our experience with Summer Courses extended only up to the reservation. Moira is looking forward to when she can go to Oxford.Alan Knight

  • Unfortunately I was unable to attend my course due to the pandemic, however, the staff at Oxford Summer Courses were very helpful in dealing with the always changing circumstances. I am so appreciative to Sayantani in particular, for her patience and very realistic understanding of the unpredictable times we are living in. My only complaint was the amount of time it took for my situation the be dealt with but in saying this I do understand that staff are doing their best to try and keep their program running in some capacity.

  • After reconsidering it, their customer help support did help me a lot with my situation

  • Excellent experience and support by Sayantani Mitra in the difficult Corona time. Yes, some refund policies might not be the best but still both parties need to be happy in order to have progress. Hopefully we could work together as well in 2021

  • I had a very pleasant experience visiting Oxford Summer Courses in summer 2018 and summer 2019 in both Oxford and Cambridge. The staff was always very helpful and the excursions were lots of fun. Moreover we got to explore the cities and ate in great restaurants. The lessons were challenging yet easy to follow and offered a sneak-peek in university level education. I strongly recommend joining the Oxford Summer Courses family to expand your knowledge and make great new friends.

  • I really enjoyed my stay in Oxford with Oxford Summer Courses. This experience was really inspiring for me, I got the chance to visit parts of the Uk which I didn't think I was going to visit by myself thanks to the great trips by OSC. I learned a lot about Oxford, it's history, it's colleges... Spending two weeks in one of the greatest colleges in the world showed me how the English system functions and motivated me to apply in the UK for my postgraduate education. I also learned new things about business since my course was "business and entrepreneurship" by creating my own project thanks to the teacher's help. I met amazing people from all around the world and I really recommend this experience. I received offers from colleges in London like: King's College, Queen Marry's or City university and I think my experience at OSC had an important impact on my application.

  • Oxford summer course for me was a great decision as I have achieved some great friends and plus the education that was provided throughout. It was an great experience where I learnt so much about what can I become in coming future and also the site visits different locations provided a lot of information about the culture . Would love to go again for the same.

  • I had a great time last spring taking the medicine course at Oxford. I am out of words to express how much of an amazing experience it was for me both academically and culturally. I got to be with and get to know people from different parts of the world and create lasting friendships and memories. I am also grateful for the tutors and the team that hosted and mentored us in the best way from day one. Be it Oxford city, tutors, mentors or friends everything still enthralls me.

  • Since being a part of Oxford Summer Courses, I’ve been able to study the ‘Oxford’ way, explore some of the most beautiful and historic colleges, as well as meet tremendously diverse groups of people from all around the world. The tutors here were always more than happy to elaborate on topics that were blurry to me in order to provide a better understanding during class whereas the on-course staff always had my well-being in mind. I felt like my contentment here has always been a top priority in terms of fun, health, and safety. Everything from the food catering to the execution of activities has been beyond my expectations as they were always so organized and well thought out. My experience here at Oxford Summer Courses had not only been immensely influential in academic growth but in personal development as well.

  • Last summer, I enrolled on a law course with Oxford Summer Courses in the wonderful Brasenose College. The experience was an incredible enrichment. Living and breathing the magical atmosphere of the historic city of Oxford and getting to know students from all around the world while immersing yourself in the subject you are passionate about is an unforgettable experience I can only recommend! Many of the lovely student helpers were or still are students at Oxford University, showed us their colleges, favourite museums, parks or cafés and gave valuable advice about the application process to universities in the UK. If someone reading this is also thinking of applying to Oxford: This is an amazing chance to see many colleges (each of them is unique!) and figure out if they might be a place to study for you in the future. You will also find out if the tutorial system suits you, I really enjoyed discussing and tackling various fictional cases with my law tutor. With the right attitude, you can take away so much from these two weeks!!! The course can really be a defining experience for your future, and for me it definetely was.

  • it was an awesome experience. 100% recommend. it opens so many new horizans in terms of knowlegde on the chosen subject and interactions with new people. it is such a great way to boost your confidence and improve your independance. it laso allows you to make such unique and one of a kind bonds with people. and it is crazy how close you grow to certain people in just a few weeks. overall awesome experience and i would strongly recommend.

  • I attended a 1 week course on marketing and social media as a part of th spring course programme organised by Oxford Summer Courses. We were given rooms to stay at the historical St. Anne’s College and our classes were arranged at St. Antony’s College. Our tutor did an excellent job of teaching us the concepts of marketing and social media while indulging in positive discussions about the subject. Practical sessions throughout the course were the highlight as we got to meet professionals working in the area of our subject. OSC organised a lot of activities such as punting and special lectures which were fun. We went to visit the iconic Windsor Castle as a part of our trip which was superb as well. My overall experience with OSC has been fabulous and I would definitely think about coming back if I find another subject of my interest.

  • Taking this course really expanded my knowledge of the course I chose. I loved getting to know people from all over the world, it was amazing making new friends - building friendships that will hopefully last a long time.

  • A great experience and very worthwhile, I did the Singapore summer course and absolutely enjoyed it, however I would say it does really challenge you when it comes to meeting new people and keep friends there as I was the only one from UK. Definitely encourage more UK students to sign up !!

  • I really enjoyed my stay. Staff and fellow students were very nice and down to earth. We studied for 3 hours every day (excluding weekends) but I think the major thing we focused on was making friends and exploring the place. I would say one thing though. I would recommend anyone to bring their own people cases as I have unfortunately forgotten to and ended up with lice. So sanitary wise, not very.

  • My Name is Anuj Kumar and I am 17 years old. I would like to firmly say that Oxford Summer School is One of the best company for Oxford university summer school. The entire team is so helpful. My stay was professionally managed by a group of people. The teacher are so great and they teach so well, they are so good listener.I would like to thank Career Weaver and Mss. Porshia Richard (Oxford Summer School) for such a wonderful experience.Would recommend Oxford Summer School to everyone, in case anyone needs feedback on email, feel free to ping me.

  • It was a lovely experience in terms of connecting with other students and making friends, exploring Oxford, and receiving help and advice from our wonderful tutor and staff. However, the topics themselves covered in our academic courses were mostly general knowledge from our high school and middle school foundations. The seminars and tutorials we participated in weren't even close to an undergraduate level. Additionally, I was hoping for at least one class day where we would be taught outside of the classroom. For instance, since I took Environmental Science, I hoped to have a fieldwork day where we would go to the Botanical Gardens, Museum of Science, or the Oxford University Museum of Natural History to collaboratively learn outside of the class as a more hands-on approach. All in all, as students come from different backgrounds and levels of education relating to their chosen course subject, Oxford Summer Courses should integrate their academic courses in a much better way (especially considering the amount we spent for this program) where the most experienced student doesn't get easily bored nor does the least experienced student get easily lost.

  • So fun!! My classes were so immersive as I did art history!!

  • My son loved the program. I would recommend it to other students too.

  • My 11-year-old recently attended the summer school program in Winchester, and the experience was exceptional. The curriculum was a balanced mix of academic enrichment and engaging activities, with attentive instructors who fostered creativity and collaboration. They successfully combined learning and fun, motivating my child to explore new subjects with enthusiasm. Communication with parents was smooth, and the staff's passion and care created a supportive and enriching environment. In conclusion, the Winchester summer school offered a well-rounded experience that exceeded our expectations. My child came away with new knowledge, skills, and friendships, and a renewed excitement for learning. I wholeheartedly recommend this program to any family looking for an unforgettable summer experience for their child.

  • had a great time expiriencing the UK university system, learning and studying with Cambridge faculty and meeting interesting people from all across the world.

  • I didn't expect Oxford Summer Courses to be as fun as it was, but as it turns out, I experienced the two weeks of a lifetime in Lady Margaret Hall - my friends were (and are) incredible, hilarious people, the tutor I had the privilege of being taught by was extremely versed in our subject and willing to be flexible depending on our personal interests, and the unforgettable memories my friends and I made will stay in my heart forever. I'll most definitely be recommending Oxford Summer Courses to all of my friends, and I thank everyone who allowed my time there to be as amazing as it was.

  • Many different people from different country’s. Good course structure, many freedoms and enjoyable accommodation.

  • It was very good, top thinking, greatly organised.

  • It was a nice experience with all the company

  • I had so much fun and met so many amazing people on my course! I also learnt so much in my lessons!!

  • Very funEducativeEpicI like itI love it

  • 10/10 experience, really recommend it!!

  • Amazing and interesting experience, definitely worth it.

  • Amazing experience

  • Great experience in Oxford summer programme! I had met wonderful tutors and made many friends from different countries.

  • Oxford Summer Courses was a phenomenal experience. I especially gained from the tutorial style seminars, as opposed to a lecture seminar. We were expected to learn all of the material prior to the course, and then have a three hour discussion in class, based off of what we read/learned prior. This experience opened my eyes to what learning can be. This style of learning is far more engaging, and likely effective than the mere expectation of hearing material in class and then consuming the information for later regurgitation. This setting fostered critical thinking and emulated a peer-review experience, that is expected in higher academia. I also appreciated and enjoyed being able to engage with my tutor during class, having the time to ask questions and delve into answers. The small class setting made this possible. Lastly, Oxford Summer Courses was a great environment to make friends and acquaintances from different walks of life, with the opportunity to learn about different cultures.

  • My name is Sophia and I am from Bulgaria. I am 12 years old and this was my first summer camp all alone, far from my family and friends for two weeks. At first I was worried being away from home but then I made lots of friends and it was perfect. I liked science and stories but the activities were the best! I met kids from many different countries. Me and my new friends had a lot of fun. It was the best experience and we also visited very interesting places. The food was delicious. The staff was so nice and polite. Thank you Winchester Team - Tom and Philip, Lea, Madi and Dami and all the other staff. They all made sure I was OK at all times, day and night. I am glad I took part in Oxford Summer Courses. I loved it and already keep in touch with my new friends when we are back home. I really hope I will be able to come next year.

  • Fun experience and i learnt alot from the tutors. Also made many friends for life

  • I loved experience at oxford summer courses. I wish the classrooms had a bit more equipment.

  • One of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Going on another of their courses in summer 2024 . Definitely recommend

  • The experience was just great, specially learning with different nationalities and mindset students and also to long lasting life time friendships. This experience helped me to focus on what subjects i should study and what shouldn't. Oxford is just doing a great by providing the bestest learning and University experience to students.

  • It was great the tutor was great the staff was great the rooms were great the location was great the content of the class was great the activities everything was great!

  • Oxford Summer Courses provided a transformative experience that exceeded my expectations. From 23.07.23 to 05.08.23, I immersed myself in a world of intellectual stimulation and personal growth. The program's curriculum was rigorous yet engaging, challenging me to expand my knowledge and critical thinking skills. I joined Maths Explorers, and Story Explorers. One of the most valuable aspects was the opportunity to forge lasting friendships with peers from diverse backgrounds. Together, we navigated through academic challenges, shared cultural insights, and created unforgettable memories. The camaraderie fostered during those two weeks was truly priceless. The faculty members - Mr. Tom, Mr. Phillip, Ms. Becky, Ms. Leah, Ms. Maddy, and Ms. Natalie - were exceptional, offering expertise and guidance that enriched my learning journey. I honed my communication, research, and problem-solving skills through interactive workshops and discussions. Each day presented new opportunities for growth and discovery.Reflecting on my experience, I am grateful for the invaluable lessons learned and the friendships made. Oxford Summer Courses not only broadened my academic horizons but also instilled in me a deeper appreciation for lifelong learning and cultural exchange. It was truly a life-changing experience that I will cherish for years to come.Thank you for your dedication, encouragement, and for making this experience truly unforgettable.I'm eagerly awaiting OSC 2024!Warm Regards,Nirvana Agrawal

  • It was a great experience overall but the accommodation of the campus made it a four star as there were like three other groups apart from us also there otherwise it was good also I thoroughly enjoyed the food

  • Greatest summer of all time. Everything was amazing (except maybe the food)

  • I would never have the chance to learn all these things that this summer course taught me. I made friendships that will hopefully last for a life time..but even if they don’t I’m so glad that I met all these people. Thanks for everything ❤️

  • Very organized and well thought out, I enjoyed every second of it. Overall amazing experience.

  • I obtained from the Oxford Summer Courses an unforgettable experience. Before attending the journey, I indeed had high expectations and with completing my Summer Course experience, I can say all of them got completely exceeded. The highlight for me personally was the built connection with other fellows of the program. By starting with knowing no one, with time you find your own group to fit in and you obtain like a family kind of feeling during the course, which gets fulfilled with going to breakfast together every day, going to seminars every day, preparing seminars together, attending activities together etc. The course is perfectly build for expanding ones network and creating close friendships. Even if the challenge might seems hard before the course by departing from the home town airport, arriving in Heathrow, finding the airport transfer, arriving at Oxford, talking with people one has never seen before, it is 100% worth it. Just take the challenge, get out of the comfort zone and you will leave with an incredible experience and new friendships, which you can't find elsewhere.

  • Good CampAmazing FoodComfy bedsActivities TiringEXCELLENT MUST GO TO

  • My son arrived very happy, he learned a lot, he made very good friends, and he wants to return next year.

  • The girls were super kind with us, they took amazing pictures! I really liked them

  • It was an unforgettable experience for me. I enjoyed every moment throughout the course. The schedule and activities were well-organized, ensuring everyone was never bored. Most importantly, I made many lifelong friends there!

  • It was an awesome experience! I met knew people and improved my english. I managed to learn a little from the course, but I thought I could have learned more With it. Although, it was a great experience!

  • I met a lot of fantastic people, learned new things and did some fun activities!

  • Absolutely stellar. 10/10 would recommend for anyone; my course was great, I made many amazing friends, and I found out that I’m a god at punting :)

  • Best thing i've ever done. I had so much fun and learned so much i definitely recommend anyone to do this course!!

  • Everything was absolutely perfect. From the on-course staff to tutors to accommodation. Enjoyed every bit of it and made a lot of friends.

  • Best 2 weeks of 2022. I learned a lot of new things, met people from all around the world and feel like I know Oxford a little bit. My tutor was friendly and very competent and the Worcester college was beautiful.

  • Amazing! I took law (13-15) and the course/instructor was brilliant. The excursions were fun and the people were amazing. Couldn’t recommend it more.

  • My experience in Oxford was the best i never expected this experience it made me change make new friends grow international friends the best choice and worth every sec ❤️

  • I really loved the experience, all the games the sports and the teachers.Elora, Katie, Mark and tj, the best teachers ever.I really hope to go back next year.Facundo

  • I really loved all the people and the counselors that I met. I know I will have friendships that will last a long time. Thank you so much for this experience.

  • I had what was probably the best week of my life at the Winchester Juniors Oxford Summer Course, all the students were kind and welcoming and I easily made friends who I am still in contact with. The tutors were really knowledgeable and passionate about their subject, and made the lessons engaging and challenging while interesting and fun at the same time. The house parents and staff were all really caring and friendly from the moment I met them. Tom and Phillip were some of the best course directors I’ve met and they were really helpful and made all the activities fun and enjoyable but still ensuring our behavior was safe, while taking an enormous amount of photos of us and replying to anxious parents’ messages. The campus was absolutely beautiful and we had many chances to explore the area. The environment was relaxed and friendly though rules were set in place, and I look forward to returning again. I definitely recommend this camp to anyone who wishes to have a wider global mindset, meet a supportive community of fellow students and staff, and to have enriching academic and social experiences.

  • Getting to know everyone in my class and the counselors was one of the best parts. Only downside was having to leave :(

  • very professional, supportive and kind team! our kids experienced a very happy time during the last 2-week summer courses.

  • This experience has been as amazing as profitable, I’ve the chance to meet lots of wonderful people and the seminars were incredible thanks to the presence of remarkable tutors.

  • I can confidently say Oxford Summer Courses was the greatest experience of my life

  • The couse is amazing met a lot of new friends and had a great summer experience, learnt a lot from my tutors

  • Oxford Summer Courses was an amazing summer course. The staff are all very nice and supportive. The activities at Oxford Summer Courses are fun and the classes are very enjoyable! I had a great time making friends there.

  • An Amazing org to be part of as a student and studying during summer.! I definitely recommend to anyone planning to join it.!

  • A wonderful week in Winchester 23-29.07.2023 What exactly made my stay great ?First of all, the people with whom we spend these days, those who organize the activities, carry them out with us, supervise them, take care of the details. In my case, Tom (Tomas Newman) and Philip (Marshall) were great in everything they did with us. Secondly, the content of the courses, their diversity, projects and practical activities related to technology exploration were very interesting. And thirdly, the trip to Longleat( the safari ) and to Bath, also the activities outside the study classes were very inspiring.Fourthly, the connections and friendships I made with my classmates and colleagues from different parts of the world delighted me, I hope they will last over time. And lastly, I want to say that even if I didn’t had my phone or any other device to play video games more than a hour a day it was one of the best weeks of my life.Thank you all for the wonderful time I spent with you this week!

  • Thank you, Tom and Philip, for your invaluable help during my two-day stay in Winchester. You assisted me with my daughter who was initially upset on her arrival. When she expressed a desire to mingle with others, you promptly fulfilled her request. Your small accommodation made a big difference; she quickly settled into the dormitory and found new friends.Every request I made was met without hesitation - your support has been immense. I believe that she learned significantly from this week-long experience where she could be herself and enjoy learning. This is crucial today when conventional education systems seem stuck in old ways of teaching.Your approach at Oxford Summer Schools is refreshing – teaching kids how to learn while having fun is important! The trip to Legoland was an extra delight – it was actually her birthday wish this year. I cannot express enough gratitude for all you've done; we will definitely repeat this experience and recommend Oxford Summer School as well as both of you, Tom and Philip! Your exceptional organisation skills ensured everything went smoothly without a hitch - truly some of the best organisers I've encountered. Kudos to both of you!She will return next year!

  • I had the best time attending the course it was absolutely worth it. I made new friends and connections just loved it It was so much fun that I did not realise how fast the time went

  • Oxford Summer Courses really gave me the opportunity to interact and meet people from different countries. The most amazing part of my course was being introduced to Oxford techniques of studying and grasping knowledge in the Oxford way. We had two weeks of time and my summer course professor taught us everything using Oxford techniques. The classes were also very open when it came to discussions and it was really eye-opening to hear opinions from different people and it definetly broadened my knowledge about various things. Overall it was an amazing experience from everything to accomadation, friends and international experience.

  • One of the greatest summer of my lifeIt taught me how to be independent and make new friends Best experience ever

  • This camp was something to remember for a life time , the students were great the people are amazing , I didn’t like the food at Ramsay hall at all and would sometimes not eat lunch or breakfast, Ramsay hall is not edible! The tutors were all great except for Heidi in particular she gave me a hard time and being uncooperative and lacked teaching discipline.

  • I absolutely loved it! The staff , my friends , the tutors , …. The classes were very informative and interesting. Overall I have nothing bad to say Definitely returning next year !

  • Our son’s experience and enjoyment of OSC is a bit mixed. This was his first experience being away from home (alone) for two weeks. He coped well and instantly made new friends. The course teaching was below par. We were told the OSC pupils would have access to Oxford Uni libraries, which simply wasn’t true. We were disappointed that the second week of lessons was completely VIRTUAL which is shameful. We certainly didn’t pay for an online course. Our son missed out on Week Two of being face to face with his course peers. Which is wrong! We received zero notification or even an offer of a credit for the missed experience. We were told our son would go to Bath as a cultural trip. Instead OSC dumped the pupils at a shopping mall in Bristol (for some bizarre reason). It seems like everything we were promised; teaching from keen, interested teachers for two weeks (didn’t happen), cultural trips out (didn’t happen), daily team activities… everything didn’t completely match what we were promised nor what we paid for. On the Sunday, our son couldn’t attend church despite it being exactly next door to Somerville College! Then they all had to watch two movies at the cinema back to back. I’d like to think for the price, the pupils had better quality activities. It felt as the the course organisers just gave up (especially virtual classes which is poor). For the high cost in providing this experience, OSC needs to think about better “return on investment”.

  • My son attended this summer and he absolutely loved taking different classes and learning in a creative and collaborative way. The field trips were so amazing and they added a few more exciting ones as well! Staying multiple weeks was also a huge benefit as my son gained more confidence each week he was there and those who stayed, had extra field trips each weekend. He met new friends from other countries and was surrounded by a rich historical environment. Tom & Philip were absolute saints, as they ran the program, cared for our children, planned and organized everything, AND at the same time, had to manage a large text chain of over 70 anxious parents who constantly texted demands day and night and often times, unreasonable requests like asking why their child was not in a certain photo at a certain time, to take more pictures of their child or expectations of why photos were not taken every second of the day. They were always so pleasant answering back and were so very responsive to every text. They wrote beautifully detailed recaps of the kids’ day and emailed it each night. The total experience really exceeded our expectations and my son can’t wait to come back!

  • I had a great time at Oxford Summer Courses! The cultural experiences, activities, and classes were like nothing else!

  • It was a very interesting and unique experience, my course was different from what I usually learn at school so it was entertaining to learn about a subject that I am passionate about, but learn it in more depth. The staff was friendly and helpful.

  • The teachers were extremely nice and the other students were too. This company did everything great however the unexpected weather did cause many problems.

  • I loved the food that I ate throughout the week, it was very nice and I loved my dorm mates, we had a very good time. I also enjoyed my house parents and all the course coordinators because they were very nice.

  • My daughter spent there the most 2 amazing weeks or her life. She made incredible friends, and all the organization was amazing. All young people must try it.

  • It’s a beautiful experience i tried in my life,i learn a lot of thing from experts tutors, oxford it’s not just a course, from oxford now i have a great friends from different countries, thank you oxford for every thing.

  • Great course! Curriculum was beyond A level. It enhanced my understanding on many advanced subjects. I am planning to study Biochemistry for uni and I definitely suggest attending the Chemistry Course for like-minded students. Besides academics, I also enjoyed making new friends and joining the extra-curricular activities.

  • its the best summer school i have been to, i have made soo many new friends and the staff is so nice we are having the best time of our lives

  • I had an incredible experience with Oxford summer courses. I went for art history, and arguably we had the best class because we got to tour Oxford and it’s beautiful architecture/ museums all day! Bry Leighton was my tutor and she was absolutely lovely. She was always so cheerful and her classes were diligent, creative, and informative. Our tutorials with her were very thorough, and her feedback on our essays was so helpful. She taught us new perspectives of art history we hadn’t considered before. Georgia and Katerina were are counselors and they were so kind, helpful, and fun! They always made sure we were comfortable and doing well. The activities provided by the course were amazing! I loved going to Windsor castle, trying punting for the first time, and eating at the wonderful restaurants for dinner! I hope I can attend again.

  • Before embarking on this journey, I was honestly quite worried and stressed, but it ended up being the best 2 weeks of my life. The courses and the day to day activities are one of a kind but it's also the people you meet. In less than 2 weeks, I've met people from all over the world, learned so much about them and their cultures, and they are now my friends for life. Moreover, the city of Oxford in itself is incredibly beautiful and full of charm and a must to visit for its architecture, historic sites, all the beautiful colleges, libraries, museums, restaurants and so on. I can say without a doubt that this has been an amazing and unforgettable experience. Two days in, and I did not want to leave. I miss every part of it, every single day, so I would definitely recommend it. :)

  • Great experience, the people, staff and tutors are all very nice and welcoming. It was a wonderful opportunity for extending my knowledge of the field of medicine and making new friends. Would recommend

  • I’m a student of MBA Finance program of Oxford college. I have experienced excellent lectures panel & management team of Oxford. Dr Dhanushka gave us a commendable support on our assignments. Those sessions were really helpful for me to get a good marks through out the program. I recommend Oxford college for your MBA qualification

  • I had the best experience of my life. For two weeks, I had a chance to learn and explore amazing knowledge by a very kind tutor. Besides the classes, the friendship I had during two weeks, all the great activities and relevant stuff made my experience much more amazing. I recommend it to everyone who is willing to go and see Oxford's fascinating atmosphere with a very informative course.

  • The activity’s planned, course its self, people, work, bop, and more were all an incredible experience!

  • Amazing two weeks!!! I was there for two weeks of psychology in St. Benets and it was so fun and interesting. From my tutor to my organisation team, everyone was very helpfull and gave their best to give us the best experience possible. Definitely an experience to recommend others as well. Thank you for the two weeks.

  • I went on a two week course of medicine at OSC and i can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life, on top of the marvelous teaching and entertaining classes I got to meet amazing people and make life long friends. The activities planned by the course gave us the opportunity to bond as a group and the free time allowed the groups that were formed to explore the city and get to know each other. I thank every member of staff that made this experience so memorable, specially Annie, Annabel and Angus. I will most definitely recommend this course to my friends in Spain with the certainty that they will forever cherish these two weeks as I do.

  • As Shreyansh mentioned to me he enjoyed the course thoroughly. Seminars were great and the activities were engaging. He also enjoyed company of other students and could manage to make great friends. We recommend the course for other students which will definitely help in profile building for prospective students .

  • Overall, I loved the camp, from making new friends to doing activities I’ll never forget. The cc’s and cl’s were the nicest people and accommodating However, the only downside from this amazing experience was the food, it’s wasn’t good and the quality of it was disappointing Other than this it was an amazing experience

  • I am Antony Biju from GEMS Wellington School Qatar, and I have just completed my International GCSEs.The course I did was Medicine from 16th to 30th July 2022, at Somerville College. These two weeks were very exciting and I learned a lot from my tutors, Mr. Rizwan Gony and Mr. Sebastian Yim. Within the span of two weeks, they covered special content in a precise and informative manner – in the first week Mr. Rizwan covered theory and research essays, while in the second week Mr. Sebastian built up more theory and covered the practical side of Medicine. Overall, I am glad I did this course and to be under the tutelage of two great tutors. My ACDs were Katie & Cherry, and also Callum and Nicole were there to support. They helped my group (Group 8) ‘break the ice’ and we’ve all made great friends. The activities we did both inside the classroom (such as checking iris & muscle reflexes) and outside (such as punting, parties and exploring other colleges) were amazing. These two eventful weeks gave me a taste of university life at Oxford.I would recommend everyone to try out Oxford Summer Courses.

  • Amazing is the word. The people, services, food and the whole experience itself was simply amazing. However, the best thing of this course is that, unlike other summer programs, I know the friends I made here will stay. I feel like the people yo meet in the course are the main reason for the course being so unique.

  • I participated in the 13 to 15 course this year. I really enjoyed learning about a new topic, meeting new people and experiencing the local culture.

  • Great experience.Very nice students, tutor and course directors:)Would recommend for anyone wanting to expand their horizons, meet new people from all over the world and have a good time for 2 weeks.

  • The best part about the experience was that the staff and the learning accommodation were good. I felt that the team was doing their best to take care of me and everybody else at the experience, but at the location were I stayed didn't have some of the proper equipment and learning accommodation to do science experiments, like a lab. At least to compensate we got to do Blooket in the last 2 sessions of the week.

  • Genuinely great experience through and through. Not only did I have the possibility to learn interesting new concepts regarding my subject of choice, but I was further able to explore and discover the beautiful city of Oxford, through planned activities and in free time, and have the possibility to meet plenty of interesting people coming from diverse backgrounds and interested in all sorts of different things. While perhaps it could have been fun to have a little more free time to simply relax and wind down, the experience was thoroughly enjoyable and I’m sure to cherish its memory for years to come.

  • My two sons have just returned from a week at Winchester College with Oxford Summer Courses. They had a superb time, covered subject matter they had not encountered before, and made new friends. The balance between academic and social experiences was just right. The course staff went to great lengths to arrange interesting activities and clearly put a lot of thought into making sure the children from many different countries mixed well and didn't feel left out. As a parent, I also particularly appreciated the structured environment with clear rules and policies around e.g. phone use that were implemented from the start. A particular shout out to Philip and Tom for their dedication and their great communication with parents, giving us a summary every day of what the children had been up to and providing us with loads of photos. Thank you!

  • The two weeks went by so so fast!!! The lessons are really interactive and enjoyable and I made so many memories and life long friends!! Would defo recommend!!

  • My daughter Erica enjoyed the summer camp so much. She has new friends, enlarges her learning scope, and most important, she knows clearly what her goal is. This is a summer camp which beyond my expectation.

  • It was beautiful being in your college and I would definitely recommend it. The experience was amazing and I made some really good friends. The activities were really creative and I really liked it, and mostly I really liked the order that they managed to get by only saying 1,2,3. The place was fabulous and the house parents were really inclusive. I also liked the meals and the thing that they tried to do also some meals of other countries. Being there was really fun and I really enjoyed it.

  • My daughter spent two weeks for the Architecture Summer Course in Oxford. She had a great experience traveling alone, making many new friends, having the freedom to walk around the town and taking her own decisions. She loved the activities and the support staff assigned to her group. However, the course was not at the same level as the experience. The teacher seemed absolutely unprepared for beginners; she gave them projects and assignments before even teaching the basics. They had no materials at all nor appropriated architecture classrooms for projects. In addition, we were very disappointed with the weekend shopping field trip. We were expecting fun, cultural and instructional field trips, not to go to stores and spend more money. Please, reflect on this, I'm sure Oxford can do better on that side.

  • A one of a lifetime experience everyone should have. A chance to get freedom, have a better view in what you want for your career path, and meet new people along the way.

  • I absolutely enjoyed my time at the Oxford Summer Courses. This is because the tutors are experts in the field they teach, the classroom sizes are small so there is a great deal of interaction between the tutor and the students. Furthermore, the friendships you will make will be long-lasting as everyone are there eager to make new bonds.

  • I’ve had the best two weeks of my life!! The course was extremely engaging and interactive, and the tutor was really responsive to the students needs. The activities were also very exciting and the fact that we got to study in one of the most academically rigorous places in the world was very satisfying!! I would strongly recommend Oxford Summer Courses!!

  • i got to meet a bunch of new friends in a safe and fun environment while also being able to learn a lot that can help me in my future

  • Had the time of my life. This experience is so precious to me and I hold it very dear to my heart. I studied the Business and Entrepreneurship 13-15 course and absolutely loved it. My classmates were engaging and the course was made absolutely delightful with my tutor. She made creative activities and held interactive discussions to further my knowledge on business. Apart from the studies, this experience is something I wouldn't trade a thing for. The friends I made... the experiences I had... is something very very dear to me. Attending OSC truly made my 2023 summer the best one I had.

  • I had an amazing two weeks. I did the 16-17 medicine course at Somerville. The accommodation was amazing ( we got to have individual rooms although we booked shared as there weren’t many people during the last weeks). My group leaders were amazing ( shoutout to Ishwa, Emily and Bohas). I learnt stuff about citing , researching etc. I have to say the academic part really depends on your teacher. They also took us to so many different types of restaurants for dinner as well as punting , cinema , laser tag etc. I got to meet people from all over the world and I didn’t think I could become so close with some of them in such a little amount of time. Also, during the high table formal dinner and graduation , you really feel like a (mini) uni student. It’s an amazing experience , 100% do it if you have the opportunity to.

  • My experience with OxfordSummerCourses was amazing. I loved my teacher and most of all the friends I made during the course. The learning experience is different than in school and much better!I can totally recommend it.The only downside was the food... it wasn't so great considering the price of the course.

  • the Winchester summer camp is so well organised and the variety of activities for the children is outstanding. The morning school activities are based in the beautiful stunning premise of the winchester college. Well done Tom and Philip and the team for the organisation and the care.

  • It was an absolutely life changing experience for me. I’ve made amazing friends, received new opportunities and learnt so much more while having so much fun. I am elated I had the chance to attend as I feel like a changed person.

  • Our 12 year old son attended one week of the course in Winchester and was very happy with the whole experience. He was very excited about the whole week and very much wants to return next year for more than the one week he's spent there this year. He only had great things to say about his experience for the week and about both the staff and his colleagues for the course. He suggested that maybe the academic part could be more challenging but he has learned a lot as it is and was also excited about what new things he has learned and practiced. Overall we are very happy with the course and great thanks go to Tom and Philip who have excellently managed the week in Winchester for the group!

  • My daughter attended Oxford Summer Courses and loved it! From the academics to the excursions to the connections she developed with people from around the world, she considered this a once in a lifetime experience. She was literally crying when we picked her up - she didn't want to leave, and she had made many best friends for life. I highly recommend this program for any young person looking to expand her mind intellectually, socially, and culturally.

  • Overall my child enjoyed this and wants to return next year, which is a good sign. In my view as a parent, as a 1-week residential camp for children, socially it was great, the teachers all seemed nice and supportive and there was a decent range of activities. Based on what my child reported and the written material I saw, the academic content was average at best. I was fine with this because my primary aim was not an academic one, and in the space of 1 week there is a limit to how much can actually be taught. (If this was my primary aim then I would have been disappointed, because it was not on a par with the standard you see in leading public schools.) My overall sense is that the course is really pitched towards an overseas crowd, who are drawn to the 'Oxford' branding, and the cachet that goes with it.

  • The 2 weeks have gone by so fast, the tutors are amazing and I have learnt so much but have also had so much fun outside the classroom with different activities everyday.

  • The team leaders, Tom and Philip, and all the staff are very friendly and caring. They created a happy and warming environment for kids. The courses are very interesting and give kids a very good opportunity to communicate and work together on projects. Team leaders kept all parents informed on everyday activities and shared all the photos. Kids all looked so happy and had a great time. They make a lot of friends and still keep on touch after the program. The only down side is that kids were having so much fun and forgot to call their parents. We will definitely consider to join again.

  • It was a great opportunity to make lots of friends from all over the world. But I actually wanted more time to spend on my work and I wanted the tutors and the course leaders to exchange the information.

  • My child, Arjun was unable to attend the course last year because of the delay in getting visa from India. Oxford has given him a deferral to this year. The best part is that I was unable to contact any one personally, therefore I sent an email to the coordinator from last year Ms. Sayantani. Though she is no longer working with the student service team, still she connected me immediately to the person concerned and he was very helpful. I received all my documents in the mail while speaking with him. How wonderful is that! My special regards to Ms Sayantani Mitra. This is what I call professionalism and healthy work culture.

  • At first, it seemed like I wouldn’t enjoy myself or make friends but actually it was very different ! After 4 days of getting used to it, time flew by and before you know it we were all crying about how much we didn’t want to leave, one of the saddest moment of my life honestly - I’ll miss everyone

  • Aksh had a wonderful time at Oxford university. He has expressed to me that he has learnt a lot and enjoyed spending time with new friends. He told me he want to be there more. Every trip was definitely a highlight to the week and was lucky enough to have beautiful weather! Taking this opportunity to thank you for taking care of Aksh! We will definitely come back again!

  • I was’t able to do the feedbacks or the reflection for last day/first day. If it was not possible to send me the website or form to complete these.Leadership class reflection:Learning with Mr.Warner I’ve enjoyed and learned various lessons to become a leader. Throughout the 2 weeks I was able to build my confidence and train multiple skills. I’ve enjoyed leadership and made so much progress

  • Last year Valerie (9) was very home sick and was reluctant to go again. So we agreed that she would do a one week course in Science (her favorite subject). This time iy=t went snag free and she really enjoyed the course as well as the social aspect of the stay at Harrow. Her only complain was the food, and she preferred Dragon School. Overall a great experience for her. She actually asked to go back next summer, but only if it was one week.

  • I went to this program for the academic purposes and for travel purposes. I learned so much about businesses and about other people. Everyone is from all over the world and it was incredible to meet so many people from so many backgrounds. When you are not studying/free-time, you are going out with your group and site seeing and learning about the culture and history of where you are staying. The breakfast and dinners were good and the restaurants for lunch nearby were as-well. one word of advice is to bring around $15-20 per day.

  • What truly made this experience amazing and outstanding was its social aspect, how you could get to know each other so quickly and so deeply in a span of 2 weeks. The food could’ve definitely been better although it wasn’t much of a problem for me. For its academics, oxfords summer course made learning interesting and should also look to involve more peer work during and after classes. A wonderful experience that I recommend to everyone looking for a summer school to spend 2 weeks in. Thanks for the opportunity

  • The experience was really good because I really enjoyed some of the activities we did such as walking around Oxford and seeing new things as well as making new friends. The living conditions was really good as well. As a whole I felt like I have learnt many new things with my subject choice and about independence.

  • Stellar academics, great fun with people from all over the world but there is room for improvement. Having pizza for dinner several nights in a row doesn’t constitute appropriate meals…she ended up having to go out for virtually every meal as a vegetarian there were not any options. For the cost of this course, healthy and well balanced food was expected. Was also very disappointed with the outings…going to an outlet mall versus a tour of Oxford was a shock! Some of the “cultural activities” were forced on the students even when they were not well “you are not allowed to stay, everyone has to go.” Rules were enforced sporadically about coming and going and it was hard to understand how it all hung together.

  • My 14 years old daughter recently completed the Oxford Summer Course in Business and Entrepreneurship, and it was unforgettable experience…. The course was well structured with a mix of lectures , group discussions, and hands on activities that kept her engaged.I would wholeheartedly recommend this program to any student eager to learn and grow :)

  • juliet loved this camp so much, she never wanted ti leave and had so much fun. she made tons of friends and enjoyed her experience thoroughly. coming back next year for the full 4 weeks, she absolutely adored this and rates it 10/10!

  • Great course had the experience of a real college student. all the staff members and maintenance there was incredible. the campus is beautifal and everyone is well looked after. i do want to give an honorable mention to ollie jakes. he made this experience special for me and my friends. 11/10 experience 100% coming back next year

  • i had an epic journey at the oxford summer course, there were many valuable life lessons as well as a splendid computer science course. The teachers were super helpful and understanding, 10/10 would recommend!

  • Took this program for two weeks during august and learned a ton about my subject, made countless friends, and had great experiences, though it might be a touch overpriced for non oxford affiliated course, still worth every penny.

  • That was the best two weeks of my life! That was what my daughter said when I collected her from her two week summer 2021 aunmer course in English and creative writing. Her tutor Beth was amazing the fellow students were great and really bonded and made life long friends. The activities were great. All in the time of COVID-well done OSC.

  • I was worried this was a scam because of the lack of presence on social media but it’s definitely a real thing! My daughter had so much fun all while learning! They were able to take her passion for law and make it into a week of educational fun! She will definitely be returning next year!

  • My son had a wonderful time this summer at the Winchester campus with Tom & Philip. He learnt so much and also fully enjoyed all the trips and activities. He came back fully contented! We're looking forward to sending Rishabh again next year!

  • Our newly minted 10 yr old attended the Winchester Science camp for a week. This week has left a lasting impression on him - a perfect blend of scientific exploration and outdoor adventure. He enjoyed the course content which covered a wide range of topics across all sciences and every day, he discovered and learnt something new. From the get go, the students developed great camaraderie with fellow students as well as instructors/house parents. Tom and Philip were excellent in providing updates to the parents. Their detailed mails at the end of the day coupled with a few photos during the day allayed any anxiety we may have had at drop off. Our child came back inspired and happy and is already saving up for the next one!

  • Julius had a wonderful week at Winchester College. He has expressed to me that he has learnt a lot and enjoyed spending time with new friends. Portsmouth trip was definitely a highlight to the week and was lucky enough to have beautiful weather! Taking this opportunity to thank you Tom and Philip, as well as house parent Charlotte for taking care of Julius! We will definitely come back again!

  • This is the 4th Summer Camp for our daughter and the 1st time with Oxford Summer Courses and by far the best! She was positively gushing over the phone every two days what a great time she was having! Her Chemistry tutor was excellent and she is even more encouraged that this her subject of choice for studying at Uni. She had a good time in class but also had fun with all the organised activities and trips. She particularly enjoyed the day trip to London and the outdoor Shakespeare theatre evening! Highly recommend!

  • It was the best experience of my life!!! Met so many amazing and interesting people. The classes were very riveting and educational. Ive definitely made friends and memories for life!

  • I really love my class. I am taking psychology and the teacher is so so nice and I’m learning so many new things. One of the contributions to making my experience better is also the staff. I really like the staff here and they are so so nice and friendly.

  • Oxford Summer Courses was the best summer I'd ever experienced! I not only discovered my passions, but I also met new people from all over the world with whom I will remain friends for the rest of my life. We went to many restaurants for lunch and dinner in Oxford, and they were all fantastic! The teachers were all kind and my room had a bathroom attached and had air conditioning/heating which was great. I recommend this to anyone who would not only want to learn more about something they love but also experience a summer like they have never had! This was an amazing experience, and I can't wait to attend again!

  • My Daughter had a great experience, she travelled from California alone and experienced the college life. I am very happy that she was in good hands, made great friends, learned a lot and had lots of fun, thank you Oxford summer courses you gave me a good support from the beginning to the end to no worry about her, thank you for taking care of all the teens and for your guidance.

  • This was our first time in Oxford Summer camp and Ishaan absolutely loved the experience! Initially, we had apprehensions about the experience but Tom and Philip handled our queries well and we were assured that Ishaan would receive the best of experience and we were not disappointed. However, a couple of points would have made this a 5 star rating:1. Photos shared were only of one group of children and unless specifically asked for we did not get to see anything that Ishaan was doing or participating. 2. We are yet to receive the graduation ceremony pictures. If that can be expedited.Would we come back to OSC? Yes definitely!! Because Ishaan's experience was simply great and learning was absolutely spot on.Chaitali

  • As parents,we do appreciate for all staffs in Oxford Summer Camp. They gave our kids such a great experience in terms of academic study, outing activities, living supports etc. Our kids enjoyed all kinds of arrangements in Oxford Summer Camp, they made a lot of friends through the course and they experienced different cultures from other students from all around the world. The staffs gave enough attention and help to students. Additionally, my kids loved the food and dancing ball here.

  • It was an excellent experience, the staff were always friendly and helpful. You could notice that the professors excel in their field and are also very good at teaching.

  • I really enjoyed my recent experience with OxSC, I feel that I was able to learn a lot not only about the subject I studied, but also about life skills in general. I feel that I became a lot more comfortable living more independently and I made so many amazing friends! Aside from the enlightening curriculum, we were also given many chances to explore the city, with our group, or just a couple friends. Overall was just a great experience...I'm considering going back again next year!

  • I met amazing people from there from all over the world and all I hope is to meet them again someday. The course was amazing, and the fact that the tutors explained the future aspects of the topics that I have studied was extremely helpful. I am looking forward to next year’s summer course and I hope to see every people that I miss right now. not only the students but the tutors and the coordinators and other directors were also friendly and provided memorable memories.

  • Oxford Summer Courses are captured in my mind like a new era of a great beginning now. I don’t regret about my decision to participate in this course and definitely would recommend it to others!

  • 1. great experience academically and socially2. great room and surroundings3. great to get copies of the tutor's daily emails to students1. not so great that 16 year olds are being made to write "punishment lines" if they 'violate' a rule such as being 1 minute late for curfew due to removing laundry from the machine, or a traffic error2. not so great that student was reprimanded about a private conversation in their room which course leaders standing outside happened to hearOverall, my expectations as a parent were met, yes the food was probably poor for what I paid, and my daughter had a wonderful 2 weeks.thank you for that and for the opportunity to write this feedback in a transparent way.

  • Hi, Hello, my daughter was generally satisfied with the course, but disappointed with the level of the engineering course. she didn't really learn anything new, because the course was taught by a person who didn't seem to know much about it. in addition, there was only one lecturer for the whole two weeks, and my daughter wanted to meet different lecturer. that was a pity.,,generally she was happy because the tutors took great care of them... I think it was more cultural course than engineering

  • I had an amazing time at osc. Making nee friends, learning deeply and professionally about a subject. If there is one thing they could of made better,it was the food.

  • i honestly love oxford summer courses. it surpassed the expectations i had for it and i’m having the time of my life! :) i’ve met ton of new friends while i’m also learning about the career i want to study in the future!

  • Somerville is absolutely gorgeous & I’m having the best time here. My business and entrepreneurship course has been so eye opening. I would definitely recommend signing up for Oxford Summer School.

  • The Counsellors and Course director were very nice and answered to every question I had and explained me things I didn't understand. They were also very friendly and made sure I had fun with every activity. Furthermore, my tutor was great and I learned a lot more about my subject. He would always encourage me and other students to ask questions about things we didn't understand, to which he would answer precisely. Finally, the social environment was also great. I made a lot of nice friends from all around the world and from different groups. Everyone was extremely nice and open-minded.

  • My stay was all I could have hoped for. I learned a lot and my tutor Dr St George was so knowledgeable in anthropology and so eager to share. I would highly recommend the anthropology course. The food was below expectation. But Worstcester Collage grounds are so beautiful and the accommodation was really good for student housing. I enjoyed my stay alot and made memories for life

  • Was the best experience ever! I was definitely scared to go to a new country and be without my family for 2 weeks, but it was a very comfortable and welcoming environment. My engineering tutor knew what he was teaching, was extremely helpful when answering questions and during building projects. It was easy meeting people and making friends from all around the world. I would recommend taking a course here to everyone.

  • Im a returning student cause its has been an amazing course each time. The people ik charge there are really nice and will help you as best as they can. You learn a lot from your course which some of the things you will still use later on in life. The lessons, the people and the activities made it a wonderful summer course!

  • WSG gang LeymarJr123 back at it again with another banger. I very much enjoyed Oxford especially the people because they are all so memorable except for that ogre named Haifa I hope u lose all your friends. anyways everyone else were so phenom even the staff that were helping out shoutout to Annie, Yiannis, Beethan, Sam and Rhiannon you guys were the bestest ever. Nour, Chistine, Amara, Aarav, Dana, Yara, Farah, Oceane, Spyros, Hasib, Gerardo, Zainab, Noor, Lyn, Jeneen, Sophie, Ava, Francesca, Eliza, Ghalia, Yasmine, Ghanem ON TOPPPPPP

  • The people, the campus, the freedom, THE FOOOOOOD (Benito’s beef quesadilla’s were amazing) THE MILKSHAKES, the shopping the amazing group leaders (LOUIS, KIERAN, AND LAILA WE LOVED U GUYS), the small get together we’d do at night, making me go down early in the morning with unblended makeup just for registration, everything honestly!! I’m so gonna repeat this next year

  • I had the time of my life there. I expected to have fun and enjoy my stay, but it turned out to be a magical experience for me. All of our counselors were amazing people, and the activities were very well planned and pleasant. I also loved my tutor, he thought us so much and was always ready to help us with an open mind. I can’t say it was the best in terms of academics. I obviously enjoyed the lectures and tutorials, but I feel like I wasn’t challenged enough. Nevertheless, if you are confident in yourself that you can make friends and have people you can spend time with, OSC will be the perfect place. It also has beautiful facilities. I was in Somerville College and my dorm was in CHB. I loved my room and the college was mesmerizing. I highly recommend OSC if you are looking for 2 weeks of socialization+academics+exploring Oxford all balanced. (I promise I’m not a bot, I actually did love it there)

  • The 2 weeks I was at Oxford was the time of my life, the friends I had made, the counselors taking care of us, the activities we did they were all so perfect. Oxford did an amazing job and the academics were sensational as well!

  • It was very fun , and the most interesting thing is meeting new friends from different nationalities. In the beginning I thought we will be friends only in the camp but we are still friends and chatting together

  • This year was amazing. I met so many people that have become like family to me. The freedom was great as well with my amazing councilors. The only thing that was a tad annoying was the curfew. We had to be in our rooms by ourselves at ten. Which is ok hour especially because we need sleep. How if we had activities till 9:50 it was so annoying because we couldn’t talk to our friends long. Honestly the time is perfect it’s just the activities running late.

  • Amazing experience! As someone who did not initially like the prospect of socialising with people i didn’t know, Oxford Summer Courses made it so easy to make new friends. It really does not matter what course you are taking, you will still enjoy everything about your experience whether that be off or on campus.

  • My daughter Helen intended History and Science Explorer Courses from 9-22 July. From the moment she arrived she totally engaged in the program, made many friends and on departure did not want to leave! She liked very much tutors and teachers as well. She had excellent time over those 2 weeks and definitely wants to come back next year. We highly recommend the school for the parents hoping for good social inclusion and interesting academic aspect.

  • I spent four wonderful weeks at Oxford Summer Courses with amazing Friends from all over the world, charming Course Leaders (BB & JK), Course Coordinators, and other OxSC and LMH College Staff.During the course, I studied a lot of material, which will surely help me with my classes at school. My Mathematics and Physics tutors were extremely passionate about their subjects and always found easy and fascinating ways to teach us all the brand-new topics. Each day in Oxford was filled with many extraordinary activities, of which my favourites were punting, performing, and having fun at the Brighton Pier theme park. I saw all of the most recognisable English landmarks, such as the British Museum, Tower Bridge, the V&A Museum, Big Ben, Blenheim Palace, and the Ashmolean Museum.I would fully recommend Oxford Summer Courses to everyone – it was the best summer camp I have ever been on, and I am already looking forward to returning to the UK next year. I went to Oxford expecting a lot, but I came home having experienced even more!

  • I went to the oxford summer courses this summer 2024. I took the econ class. We had two hours of class each daz except for wednsday and the week end. The lessons were packed with information , so i learned allot. We also had to do homework but it was not bad, because we had study time designated to do your hw. The staff had planned very fun activities everyday. We did different games and several excusrions througought the week. On campus there was a basketball court, tennis court and foot ball court, where you could play when you were given free time. There was also a a common area where you could chill with your friends during free time or non obligatroy activities that was very nice. The food there was not as bad as they made it sound on the reviews, you could defenetly eat it , but they also let you order take out if you did not want to eat the given food. Overall it was an amazing experience, I got to meet many new people form different parts of the world, learn mant different cultures and make many amazing memories. I rate this experience a 10 out of 10.

  • I joined business and entrepreneurship course since July 14th to 27th. I was nerves becourse of my English skills but thanks to many fun activity and kind people, I was so fun.

  • I absolutely loved this summer course! I took medicine classes with a highly experienced tutor who taught us about the medical field. Oxford summer courses is an amazing way to make friends, have fun whilst still learning valuable information about college experience in Oxford.

  • Overall my daughters had a good experience . The course coordinators were very friendly and helpful . The material provided for Economics was good. What we didn’t appreciate was the frequent shopping trips . They were taken for shopping almost everyday . Also the food quality was very poor and they got very little veg options . Also we were not informed in advance that the kids were going to put up in a taxi alone to travel from Cambridge to London . Inspite of messaging and making several calls to the course director we didn’t get any response The chaperone who helped them at the airport was very nice though.

  • The social gatherings were so well planned out and fun! My course leaders were truly some of the best people I met during this program, and I loved how some groups got to mingle with others to make new friends. The teachers were amazing and I learned so many new things!

  • Whole course is just amazing! Amazing tutors, staff (new college staff>) friends. Don’t want to leave. Its so fun! Learned so much too!

  • Attending the Oxford Summer Course for Chemistry was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! My class only had three students, which enabled the teacher to have a more personal approach to every student. The lessons were really engaging, and made me even more passionate about Chemistry than I was before. We also got to explore many amazing places, like museums in Oxford, the city of Bath, and even London! Visiting these places with friends made the trips even more special. We also played games like football and had fun hanging out, making memories I’ll never forget. Also, at the end we had a Bop party and a formal dinner, which were amazing!I met a lot of inspiring people and made friends from all over the world. If you’re looking to learn a lot, visit incredible places, and meet awesome people, I highly recommend this course. It’s the perfect combination of learning and fun!

  • The whole experience was amazing! The course was well structured giving us enough free time and still making it very educational. The course leaders were very helpful and fun to be around. These two weeks felt like 3 days and i would have gladly stayed another 2 weeks. I have made such incredible friends and connections. Would definitely recommend!!!!

  • Unforgettable experience. The course was well-organised, I learned a lot about the Uk school system and met amazing people from all over the world.I really appreciated the small size of classes and the team work. The only thing I thought was missing in my medicine course was practice, sadly we didn’t do any.Nonetheless, I loved my time in Oxford. The planned activities were really nice and allowed to socialise with everyone. It really was one of the best experiences of my life and I do recommend it to everyone.

  • Our 16-year-old son did the Law course and stayed at Somerville College last month. When I collected him on Saturday morning, he was elated after a very enjoyable fortnight. The course was well organised, and the tuition was excellent. Special credit to course leaders, Dougie, Eliza, and Rose who really looked after the students in group 9. As well as formal tuition, they attended both Magistrate and Crown Court trials in Oxford and had a day trip to London. As parents, we'd recommend the course to ambitious teenagers who'd enjoy a challenge.

  • Camp was amazing and a lot to do everyday always keeping up busy. Couldn’t even say everything we did and Oxford will be a core memory my whole life. Only minor critique was we requested roommates at the beginning of camp and visibly not one camper had a roommate. Besides this, one of the best experiences of my life and would recommend to many. I also want to recognize my law tutor and how patient she was with us and understanding how we were learning a new subject.

  • to get the best out of the way, the highlight was making new friends from all over the world and studing subjects of interest, the only thing that realy bothered me was the wi-fi, it was abismal and sometimes the conection was so bad it was like the wi-fi wasn't even there, but that probably was a problem of the summervile college building itself.bisides that litle anoyence, i had a blast

  • The people there made my experience a one of a kind. I think that because there were so many people from different countries it made it so much better and the experience of doing activities with these people was truly a change of pace in my life. The activities fit with what was proposed and everything was smooth sailing.

  • I really enjoy the atmosphere and the way the staff members manage to keep us safe while still having fun. What I will recommend though, is having more time to learn, in the sense that seminars or lectures should last longer because there are so many interesting topics yet not much time to fully discuss them. So far, I’m really enjoying the experience!!

  • This was a once in a lifetime experience. The students and staff are some of the most amazing people you will ever meet and I am proud to say I’m returning for next years courses as well. The staff makes sure each students accommodations are met and heard. Have definitely recommended to peers and would highly suggest this program to anyone that asks.

  • the course is nice — I am taking business + entrepreneurship, which I find informational. However, I do wish I had a bit more guidance on brainstorming my product that I would be developing for the next two weeks. Really love the staff and people.Do wish we had more free time. I am very tired and need to do my laundry. I wish certain activities were optional.

  • Never thought that I would have the best summer in my life! Not only experienced how seminars and tutorials are like, the activities make me truly in love with Oxford! The friends I met worldwide and friendly staffs are the people I want to keep in contact with for ever (;

  • I am 16 years old and participated in the Creative Writing course at Somerville college in Oxford! Starting with the airport transfers to and from Oxford, everything went so smoothly! The group leaders/ coordinators were so incredible and made the experience truly amazing! The learning itself was everything and more, I've never been so excited to go to class and do my homework. Words cannot describe how grateful I am for Oxford summer courses. Every day we did something new, and every day was full of adventures, learning, and hundreds of memories. I made life long friends in the span of two weeks and will never forget this experience!

  • I have recently just finished my economics course at oxford summer courses and i could truly say that this was the best experience i have ever done my whole life! all the oxford summer courses staff and the people were the best people i have ever met!! i made lifelong friends and i will forever cherish these memories!

  • I really enjoyed this course, I learnt many new things and met incredible people, however the quality of the food was a big let down. Adding to this, we did not have the option to order our own food and our free time was very limited so we constantly had to make the choice between eating food or enjoying the town, as we did not have time to do both. Apart from this disappointment it was a lovely experience that I will definitely do again in hopes that these points are taken into consideration

  • one of my favorite experiences ever! i wish i could relive those 2 weeks over and over, i've made so many memories and some great friends that i will forever remember

  • Oxford summer courses was one of the best experiences ever! The classes and activities were awesome and so much fun. Campus is beautiful and meeting new people is one of my favorite things. It’s such a beautiful experience getting to meet new people while doing things you love and exploring the courses to discover your future.

  • A wonderful experience in both the academic and recreational sides. My tutor was a very good at teaching and had vast knowledge of the subject. On the recreational side we had enough time to ourselves and our course director, Hamza was very friendly and helpful. Would do it again!

  • I had a great time at Oxford summer courses. It was truly a multicultural experience. Not only my environmental science course was stimulating and engaging, but also the many activities we did each day were fun and helped me make new acquaintances. I met one of my best friends at Oxford Summer Courses and I would never have if it wasn’t for this experience. The marketing group was kind and joyful, Agreema and Ella especially.

  • I had a wonderful time in Cambridge! I met some great friends and will take these memories with me forever! I was able to have a feel of what it would be like to live in Sidney Sussex college and the town around it! I loved the experience and the staff were amazing, I may even do another program again next summer!
