Course Summary
Students delve into the dynamic realm of robotics and electronics, discovering the pivotal roles electronics play in the automation and functionality of robots across sectors like business, defense, entertainment, and healthcare. By blending theory with hands-on practice, they grasp the intricacies of both analogue and digital electronics while gaining proficiency in orchestrating the hardware and software that breathe life into robots. The course culminates with students building their own electronic robotic project.
The Cambridge Prep is based at Peterhouse, the oldest college in Cambridge.
What's Included?
Accommodation
In Cambridge, students live in rooms that are occupied by undergraduates during the year. Students are housed in singles or doubles. Students can request a private bathroom (for a fee), on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tuition
Students on the Cambridge Prep attend one or two Sessions and choose one course per Session. Popular courses include Engineering, Medicine, International Espionage, WWII, and Psychology.
Extracurricular Activities
Every class is designed to use Cambridge as a teaching tool. When not in class, students have access to a full range of optional activities designed to help them discover Cambridge and immerse themselves in English life. They can go on tours of local sights, go on field trips, take part in sporting activities.
A well-reputed Summer School that offers students the chance to live, dine and study in two of Oxford's finest colleges, Corpus Christi and Pembroke.
