This course focuses on the history of political thought and the evolution of the conception of Human Rights throughout time. Students tackle contemporary issues such as economic disparity, migration, new technology, policy making, political power, and terrorism. They also explore how different governments, NGOs, and agencies such as the European Union address human rights issues in practice.
