Think Global! – UK Boarding Schools summer course in UK Boarding Schools, by Summer Boarding Courses.
Looking to boost your world language skills whilst learning to be a responsible global citizen? This course drives language development by encouraging its learners to adopt “the values, attitudes and behaviours that support responsible global citizenship” (UNESCO). Think Global! is designed not only to maximise your language development but to do this through using UNESCO’s ‘Four pillars of learning’: learning to know; learning to do; learning to be and learning to live together. Earlscliffe’s Think Global! programme is truly ‘global’ in all senses of the word.

Earlscliffe offers students high-quality student residences. Girls and boys live in separate, supervised accommodation. Rooms are mostly twin or triple rooms and all have en-suite WC and showers. The ‘in-town’ campus means that students can walk between their classes, to meals, their accommodation, and activities with ease.
SBC has an innovative approach to learning by advocating experiential learning, which is essentially ‘learning through doing.’ In addition to absorbing information, our students are challenged to take an even more hands-on approach to demonstrate new skills in an environment in which they are supported every step of the way.
Students at Earlscliffe Summer School enjoy a balanced programme including sports, arts and crafts, and cultural events. The programme is delivered across the campus and nearby sports centre facilities. Earlscliffe Summer School students will enjoy full-day trips on Wednesdays and Sundays, as well as evening trips to bowling, laser tag or the cinema.
With two prestigious Oxford campuses, one in Headington School and one in Wycliffe Hall, SBC offers academic-focused summer courses for students aged 13-16 and 15-17.
