What you’ll learn
- Students will be taught the essentials of business, including finance, marketing, branding, market research and product design.
- In each lesson, you will develop your English language skills as well as your knowledge of Business.
- You will also have the opportunity to analyse real-life successful business models and develop your practical understanding of business strategies, through effective project tasks and exciting team-building exercises.
- An understanding of finance is crucial to the success of businesses. Our finance module includes a tangible introduction to balance sheets, profit and loss, and different funding models available to businesses.
- You will also deepen your knowledge of what creates a strong brand identity, and how this is used to generate more sales, by looking at world-famous brands.

Accommodation
At Headington Oxford Summer School, all students reside in purpose-built boarding houses divided into male and female accommodation. The houses are well maintained and are made up of comfortable single-occupancy, twin and small-dorm rooms with shared bathrooms and common rooms. Boarding houses are where our students forge strong friendships, which often last beyond the summer experience. Our House Parents and residential staff are experienced in facilitating these bonds.
Extracurricular Activities
At Headington Oxford Summer School, students can fully immerse themselves in a wide range of fun activities. We aim to facilitate the physical and mental well-being of all our students, by providing a whole host of games and sports that allow students to explore their extracurricular passions and interests. During a two week course, students will go on three enjoyable excursions to famous UK cities and popular tourist destinations, providing the opportunity to see some of the UK’s most famous attractions and landmarks.
Taking place across three different Oxford campuses, SBC Oxford College gives students the chance to improve their English skills by studying one of the six subjects on offer.
