Engineering in Sydney (16-18 years) summer course in Sydney, by Immerse Education.
Throughout the Immerse Education Engineering summer school programme for 16-18-year-olds, you will be introduced to the engineering topics that form the foundation of engineering at university, living and studying at the University of Sydney, and develop new skills as you work through a carefully constructed syllabus.You will be equipped with introductory insights to help decide whether you should pursue studying engineering at the university level. You’ll learn first-year engineering topics and develop both theoretical and practical understanding through an exciting syllabus designed by expert tutors from leading universities.In partnership with The Australian Army Museum of Military Engineering, Students will gain an exclusive insight into the rich and proud history of the Royal Australian Engineers. Participants will discover equipment and learn about the engineers and their achievements at home and overseas.
All participants will be allocated to a college a few weeks before arriving, based on their dates and subject choice.
You will explore novel concepts and share ideas in small groups of like-minded and ambitious peers from around the world. In small class sizes averaging 7 students, you will be guided by expert tutors who have honed their expertise through teaching undergraduate students at world-class universities, including the universities of Cambridge, Oxford, and Harvard.
