Engineering in Sydney (13-15 years) summer course in Sydney, by Immerse Education.
Students of engineering studying at our University of Sydney summer school will be introduced to topics that form the foundation of engineering at university, and develop new skills as they work through a carefully constructed syllabus.You will gain a better understanding of the history and trends within engineering, as well as gaining practical insight into problem-solving through a series of practical tasks and logic puzzles. You will also explore the fundamentals of topics such as thermodynamics, materials, mechanics, and electrical engineering.In partnership with The Australian Army Museum of Military Engineering, Students will gain an exclusive insight into the rich and proud history of the Royal Australian Engineers. Participants will discover equipment and learn about the engineers and their achievements at home and overseas.
All participants will be allocated to a college a few weeks before arriving, based on their dates and subject choice.
You will explore novel concepts and share ideas in small groups of like-minded and ambitious peers from around the world. In small class sizes averaging 7 students, you will be guided by expert tutors who have honed their expertise through teaching undergraduate students at world-class universities, including the universities of Cambridge, Oxford, and Harvard.
