Course Summary
Throughout the Immerse Education Economics Summer school programme for 13-15-year-olds, you will be introduced to the topics that form the foundation of economics, reside at an Oxford University College, and develop new skills as you work through a carefully constructed syllabus.You will be equipped with insights to help decide whether to pursue studying economics at secondary or high school. You’ll engage in both theoretical and practical learning to discover the building blocks of economics, and how it affects the real-world.Most importantly, you will emerge from the course more knowledgeable about Economics, and with an understanding of what the study of Economics looks like at a more advanced level – whilst living and studying in colleges at Oxford University!
What's Included?
Accommodation
All participants will be allocated to a college a few weeks before arriving, based on their dates and subject choice.
Tuition
You will explore novel concepts and share ideas in small groups of like-minded and ambitious peers from around the world. In small class sizes averaging 7 students, you will be guided by expert tutors who have honed their expertise through teaching undergraduate students at world-class universities, including the universities of Cambridge, Oxford, and Harvard.
