Course Summary

This course will explore foundational topics such as design principles, engineering mechanics, architectural history, and sustainable building and engineering practices.

The curriculum includes workshops on technical drawing, 3D modeling, spatial analysis, and basic engineering problem-solving to build essential skills.

Interactive seminars led by experienced academics will cover the integration of technology in design and engineering.

Students will also develop critical thinking and collaboration through group projects, simulating first-year university experiences while understanding the UK’s academic expectations and culture.

Students will get to experience life as an Oxford University student throughout their stay with us, whether they are attending guest lectures from inspiring speakers, in aspirational lecture halls and auditoriums, or graduating with a formal hall, to waking up in their University accommodation.

The Pre-University Preparation programme provides an immersive and broad University experience.

  • Weekly excursions 2 full days and 1 half day
  • 23 hours per week
  • Course fees are all-inclusive airport transfers, insurance, meals, entrances to attractions, academic materials, so the only additional costs should be flights and spending money.
