Steeped in tradition and innovation, Cambridge is a place where bright minds thrive. Its inspiring setting, combined with world-class education, makes it an unforgettable destination for motivated students.

The city of Cambridge has existed since the Bronze Age and has a fascinating and rich past, which is evident throughout the city. Studying in Cambridge gives students the chance to include themselves in this history, perhaps by playing football in ‘Parker’s Piece’, where the rules of the game are believed to have been invented, or by trying to decipher the hidden location of Oliver Cromwell’s head in Sidney Sussex College.

Cambridge is renowned the world over as being one of the foremost centres of learning, with its historic university dating back to the 13th century. Like its cousin Oxford, its cobbled streets, gorgeous stone colleges and quaint marketplace make it a city like no other to spend the summer. It’s the perfect city to find your inspiration, whether you discover it whilst exploring one of the eight University museums or strolling over the wooden Mathematical Bridge.

Cambridge University has taught and inspired many famous academics and notable figures, including the scientist Sir Isaac Newton, poet Sylvia Plath, and computer pioneer Alan Turing – among many more. Prepare to embrace the scholarly spirit that courses through the city’s veins and take inspiration from the many gifted individuals who have visited before you.
Cambridge offers a distinctive setting for academic summer study, with historic colleges, compact city streets, museums, green spaces and a strong association with university-style learning.
