In the home of Mad Men and Times Square's billboards, SoHo and NoHo’s cool side, students discover the power of creativity, big ideas, and product placement. Scouting the city for case studies and creative examples, they explore how different types of traditional advertising, social media, viral marketing, pop-ups and experiential events are transforming the game. Using their creative skills, they will design logos and slogans. The program will culminate with the participants creating an experiential pop-up event, ad creative for a zine, and more. Students will meet influencers, editors, designers, and advertising gurus. Different industries will be explored such as beauty, fashion, food, consumer packaged goods, gaming, music, and travel. This class is for the urban nomad that wants NYC to be their classroom via exploring museums, galleries, stores and more.

Students assess the power of suggestion, persuasion, and product placement. Using a range of case studies and creative examples across all media, they explore early salesmanship, modern advertising, branding, and the increasing use of new media. Balancing creative skills with business acumen, they engage in branding exercises, interactive sales games, and the design and development of their own advertising campaign.

The Oxford Saïd Teen Technology and Innovation Summer Academy is a two-week, project-based programme for students passionate about technology and innovation. Participants tackle real-world challenges in AI, fintech, sustainability, biotech, and space, guided by university tutors and industry experts. The course features hands-on prototype development, expert mentorship, and an immersive Oxford college experience, culminating in a graduation ceremony that celebrates creativity, leadership, and global perspective.

The course will begin by introducing students to the approaches and techniques required to carry out a successful Business or Finance-related research project. At the same time, the instructor will propose a range of topics students might wish to concentrate on. Students will finalize their choices – in concertation with the instructor – at the end of the first week, after which the instructor will provide them with the materials required to carry out their research. The students will work on their projects, under their supervisors, during morning class and, as the program progresses, several afternoons will also be set aside to enable them to complete their projects. The results will be presented, conference-style, to the team. Options might include topics such as a comprehensive, professional, business proposal, a research paper into topics such as how realistic crypto and its imitators are as replacement global currencies, the consequences, for the US and the world, of de-dollarization, or whether governments should always endeavor to fight inflation. Naturally, wherever possible, our supervisors will do their best to accommodate specific interests.

Exploiting the resources of the world's financial capital, students discover the instruments and institutions that make up modern finance and are vital to budding entrepreneurs. They address the main business principles of strategic planning, marketing, economics, finance, and accounting. Concepts covered include SWOT analysis, developing a marketing strategy, as well as working through how to create a product centered company and draft a business plan. For their final project, they create a mock company that they present in a "Shark Tank", mirroring the high pressure, quick tempo presentations used at colleges, business schools, and startup incubators around the world.

Students are introduced to the world of corporate finance and its primary institutions through dynamic workshops and exercises. They cover 21st-century financial realities for budding entrepreneurs and multinational corporations. Major course projects include real-life case studies, a stock exchange investment game, and the design of a theoretical start-up venture.
