How to compare these courses
For university preparation, useful differences often come down to academic depth, teaching format, provider experience, location, dates, included accommodation or activities, and how clearly the course matches the student's current level.
Before you apply
- Confirm the course is genuinely based in Cambridge or clearly explains any multi-location element.
- Check that the provider's age guidance fits the student, as eligibility can vary between courses and sessions.
- Compare the provider, dates, duration and fees rather than judging by title alone.
- Look for a course description that explains what students will actually study or produce.
How to choose
When comparing university preparation in Cambridge for ages 13-18, start with fit rather than headline. A strong option should make the teaching level, practical work, dates, fees and provider responsibilities clear before you apply.
