Study Mind offers immersive, hands-on work experience programmes for students aged 15–18 across more than 15 industries, combining practical workshops, industry visits, and expert-led coaching to help young people explore future career paths with confidence. Trusted by hundreds of students each year, the programmes provide personalised guidance to strengthen UCAS applications, opportunities to learn directly from industry professionals, and a supportive, safe residential experience at UCL’s centrally located Ramsay Hall. With options ranging from one to three weeks, students can develop career skills, gain real-world insights, and enjoy an enriching taste of university life—all within a welcoming environment designed to help them thrive academically, socially, and personally.

Study Mind FAQs
Where will I be staying?
Students stay at University College London’s Ramsay Hall in single bedrooms with shared hall bathrooms, offering a safe, comfortable, and social residential experience.
How many hours of tuition are provided?
Each day, students participate in six hours of the course, totalling sixty hours over the two-week programme.
What level of English do I need?
To get the most from our programmes, Study Mind recommends a B2 level of English.
Are airport transfers provided?
Travel to and from the airport is not included in the fee. Study Mind is happy to arrange transfers, however, there will be an additional fee.
Is course insurance provided?
No - campers are not individually covered. Study Mind does have information, upon request, how campers can procure their own insurance.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes, all participants receive a certificate of completion and a personalised letter of reference from their programme mentor.
What visa do I need?
Visa requirements depend on nationality - some students need a Short-term study visa, while others, like those from the United States or European Union, do not.
