Unlock your future in finance with Study Mind’s Banking & Finance Summer Career Camp. Visit UIB Lloyd’s of London, trade live at the London Academy of Trading, and join an exclusive EY workshop. Build forecasting models and experience the fast-paced world of global business in the heart of London.

Step into the heart of London’s financial district and experience the fast-paced world of global banking, trading, and business with Study Mind’s Banking & Finance Summer Career Camp. Designed for ambitious students who want to understand how money moves the world, this immersive programme gives you rare, behind-the-scenes access to the people and institutions that shape international finance.

Your week begins with an exclusive visit to UIB Lloyd’s of London, one of the world’s most prestigious insurance markets. This visit is a privilege usually reserved for professionals and senior executives, giving you a first-hand look at how major financial deals are brokered and risk is managed on a global scale.

Next, you’ll head to the London Academy of Trading, where you’ll take part in an exclusive class just for Study Mind students. Learn trading theory from experienced professionals before stepping onto their trading floor to test your strategies in real time. It’s a thrilling opportunity to experience what it’s like to make high-stakes financial decisions in one of the world’s most competitive markets.

You’ll also enjoy a day-long workshop hosted by Ernst & Young (EY), one of the “Big Four” accounting firms. A student favourite, this workshop helps you understand how major companies are valued, how investment decisions are made, and what a career in finance, consulting, or corporate strategy might look like.

Throughout the week, you’ll also develop practical skills that set you apart - including learning how to create financial forecasting models using Microsoft Excel. These are the same tools used daily by bankers, analysts, and entrepreneurs worldwide.

Guided by mentors from top UK universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, and UCL, you’ll get a clear sense of what it takes to study finance, economics, or business at a degree level. Your mentor will help you reflect on your experiences, answer questions about university applications, and inspire you to think globally about your future.

Evenings bring a balance of fun and exploration - from group dinners and theatre nights to discovering the landmarks of London’s financial capital. By the end of the week, you’ll not only understand how global markets function but also feel confident, connected, and ready to pursue your ambitions in business, banking, and beyond.
