Become one of our Maths Explorers, and you’ll learn how to analyse patterns, solve numerical obstacles, and look at how mathematical problems exist in everyday life. We’ll explore the foundations of pure and applied mathematics and build your knowledge in a range of areas from geometric mathematics to algebra and statistics. Expect head-scratching puzzles, frustrating (but so satisfying once you know the answer) brainteasers, and codes that help you crack this multi-dimensional subject! A fast, fun introduction to the fundamental skills you need to become an expert on everything from algebra to statistics. Accommodation
Students will stay within the historic campus of Eton College, residing in shared dormitories. The accommodations foster camaraderie among students, with shared bathroom facilities and regular room checks to ensure safety and comfort throughout the stay.
Tuition
Our teaching for 12-14-year-old students is focused on interactive and task-based learning. You will be taught by experienced primary teachers, who are there to inspire and engage you with the subjects they are passionate about. Our courses run over a week, and during this time you will develop your subject knowledge through multimedia presentations, group work, games, problem-solving, and project work with a meaningful real-life focus. This teaching style has an increased focus on age-appropriate content and offers more opportunities for independent group work than our 9-10 courses.
