Take your STEM interests beyond the school curriculum with an intensive Oxford and Cambridge summer programme for ages 16–19. Explore mathematics, physics, engineering and computer science through university-style teaching, advanced problem-solving and real-world applications.
The Science, Innovation and Technology Senior Programme offers an intensive academic experience for students aged 16–19 who want to explore STEM subjects beyond the school curriculum. Bringing together mathematics, physics, engineering and computer science, the interdisciplinary programme examines how scientific principles become technologies that shape the modern world. Students engage with university-level ideas across four connected modules.
Mathematics develops rigorous analytical and problem-solving skills; Physics explores the principles governing the physical world; Engineering applies scientific thinking to real-world systems and challenges; and Computer Science introduces the foundations of modern computing, algorithms and programming. Through lectures, seminars, small-group tutorials and independent academic work, students are encouraged to move beyond memorisation and develop the ability to analyse unfamiliar problems, question assumptions and apply ideas in new contexts.
Teaching is led by expert tutors and subject specialists from Oxford, Cambridge and other leading UK universities. Cultural visits and university experiences complement the intensive academic programme, giving students an opportunity to experience university life while becoming part of an international community of ambitious STEM students.
