Explore the world of STEM through an engaging Oxford and Cambridge summer programme for ages 14–15. From mathematics and physics to computer science and engineering, students experiment, solve problems, and discover how scientific ideas become real-world innovations.
The Science, Innovation and Technology Junior Programme introduces students aged 14–15 to the interconnected world of mathematics, physics, computer science and engineering. Designed for students with a strong interest in STEM, the programme combines academic exploration with hands-on learning and real-world problem-solving. Students explore different areas of mathematics and physics, including topics such as astrophysics and geophysics, while gaining an introduction to computer science and different fields of engineering.
The interdisciplinary structure helps students see how subjects connect and how scientific knowledge can be applied beyond the classroom. Through interactive classes, practical challenges and university-style learning, students develop analytical thinking, creativity, problem-solving and confidence in tackling unfamiliar questions.
Teaching is led by experienced tutors and subject specialists from Oxford, Cambridge and other leading UK universities. The programme also extends beyond academic sessions through cultural visits, university experiences and supervised social activities, giving students an opportunity to explore Oxford or Cambridge and become part of an international community.
