Course Summary
Are you fascinated by the study of the mind and the human brain? For psychologists, this is one of the most exciting and important areas of advancing medical science. This course will encourage you to think critically and adopt problem-based learning to see how insights from research can be applied to real world issues. Our Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience is one of the world’s leading centres for interdisciplinary research in psychiatry and psychology, and you will gain a valuable insight into this field of study.
- Experience a variety of learning activities typical of a first-year undergraduate degree
- Build on your existing knowledge of core topics covered in a first-year undergraduate degree in your chosen subject

Accommodation
Accommodation, where available, is located within a short walk of campus and is arranged into single gender flats of 6-8 students and each student will have their own bedroom, containing a bed, en-suite bathroom (including a toilet, shower and sink), wardrobe, desk and drawers. Students will not be provided with a mini-fridge in their rooms, as the residences operate according to high sustainability standards.
