Course Summary
Study law in Toronto, one of Canada’s most diverse and dynamic cities. Immerse Education’s Law programme for students aged 15–18 introduces core legal concepts while encouraging debate and analysis of real-world cases.
Through interactive seminars and discussions, students learn how laws are created, interpreted, and applied, gaining insights into justice systems and the role of law in society. This programme provides the perfect foundation for those interested in pursuing legal studies or careers in related fields.

You’ll study fundamental areas such as constitutional law, criminal law, and human rights. The course also explores famous legal cases and their impact, while examining the role of ethics in justice. Students are encouraged to debate and analyse legal questions, developing strong critical thinking and communication skills.
Beyond academic sessions, students enjoy a vibrant programme of cultural, social, and recreational activities in Toronto. These include guided city tours, sports and group games, and evening events such as movie nights, quiz nights, and board games. Participants will also visit iconic landmarks like the CN Tower and Royal Ontario Museum, with opportunities to explore Toronto’s diverse neighbourhoods and cultural districts. Inspiring guest speaker events and structured social time help students connect, learn, and make the most of their Canadian experience.
Students stay at the college residences of the University of Toronto, one of Canada’s most prestigious institutions. It is a secure and inspiring academic environment, with comfortable single or twin rooms, Wi-Fi, and shared common facilities. Male and female participants are housed separately, ensuring safety and well-being. Immerse Education Frequently Asked Questions
Travel to and from the programme is not included in the participation fee. However, we offer shared airport transfer service options for all our programmes. Please find more information on airport transfers here
Programme insurance is not included in the standard participation fee. However, we do offer additional comprehensive summer school insurance for any programme you choose. Our programme consultants are happy to provide more information during a complimentary consultation
Students are supervised by their subject tutor during class times, and by dedicated mentors during their free time. Students will be part of a mentor family, which is a group of around 7-10 participants attending the programme in the same college but studying a variety of subjects. They are led by their mentor, a current undergraduate at the host university, who is there to answer any questions they may have about the programme or life at university. Mentors form the core of our pastoral care and are on hand to help participants throughout the programme.
We offer two types of programmes:
- Academic Insights – includes 40 hours of tuition over two weeks, combining theory- and practical-based sessions, workshops, guest speaker events, and one-to-one tutorials. Class sizes are small, with an average of 7 students.
- Career Insights – includes 45 hours of tuition over two weeks, with a focus on applied learning through classes, workshops, individual coaching sessions, and industry field visits.
Depending on the country you are travelling from and the location of your chosen programme, you may need a visa. Please check the specific entry requirements for each destination where Immerse programmes are held:

Students typically stay at a host university campus or one of its colleges. However, accommodation facilities vary by programme and location. The best way to get an accurate idea of what to expect is to check the FAQs for a specific programme and location
Yes, all participants receive a certificate of completion and a detailed personal evaluation written by their tutors.
My time at Immerse Education was enjoyable! I got to learn new concepts and enhance my previous knowledge regarding my area of interest. I would definitely repeat this experience and encourage you to enroll!
Being able to learn new cultures. Make new friends and increase my knowledge on Engineering. I also picked u new habits which are good for my mental and physical well-being. This was an experience I will never forget and I will definitely be doing it again.
The best part of my experience at immerse was the people. Everyone I met - mentors, professors, other students - were all so supportive, kind, and helpful. I was initially worried to be in a completely new environment alone but these people made this experience an amazing one I will never forget!
The mix of an amazing location, interesting people, and an engaging course created an unforgettable experience. Everyone got a chance to meet and bond with all the participants. I do have one remark and that is that our free time was rather limited, we did not have a lot of time to go explore Cambridge on our own or with our friends as most of our time was used for activities. However, these activities were often fun and gave us more opportunities to create better friendships with everyone.
The whole camp was well organized with fun activities that engaged every student, interactive lessons and great mentors! The food was always good and every participant felt comfortable and safe.
