Bucksmore Intensive English course aims to build strong fluency and enhance English oral and written communication skills through a fun and dynamic language curriculum.
Students study 25 hours of Intensive English per week to develop their English skills through a variety of engaging sessions, including academic tutorials, group projects, conversation classes, and hands-on excursions that take learning outside the classroom.
Our course also builds strong interpersonal skills such as teamwork, creativity, and confidence through project-based learning and mentorship.
Student progress is tracked and assessed at the end of each course by Bucksmore Assessment, an evaluation tool developed in alignment with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) scale.
You'll be staying in King's College London, a vibrant and bustling campus in central London. Accommodation is located in University student residence across Waterloo Bridge and amongst iconic London landmarks such as the London Eye. Flats are equipped with communal kitchens and single, ensuite rooms. You'll be staying in St Hilda's College a charming campus which is part of University of Oxford, situated on the banks of the River Cherwell, just a short walk from the city centre. The college's gardens and greenery provides a picturesque backdrop for studying in a peaceful setting with an auditorium and onsite punting station available.
Aside from the all-important academic side of life at Bucksmore Education, all programmes are designed to ensure cultural enrichment and a large dose of fun! Students partake in a range of events, on-campus sports and activities, as well as exciting excursions to popular UK cities and tourist landmarks. You might explore London's famous sights such as Big Ben and the London Eye, experience a private tour of Oxford or Cambridge University, or enjoy a quintessentially British seaside experience!
