What makes a character convincing or a story difficult to put down? Creative Writing Scholars with Atlas Summer Courses is for ages 12–14 at Harrow School. Students create characters, develop plots and experiment with different storytelling forms. Poetry, short fiction, photography and podcasts offer ways to test ideas and find new approaches to writing.
Interactive activities and collaborative challenges connect subject ideas with real examples, giving students space to experiment, discuss their thinking and develop their interests. Tutors adapt the content to the group’s interests rather than following a fixed syllabus.
For ages 12–14, Creative Writing Scholars uses interactive, task-based learning through writing exercises, storytelling projects and peer review. Tutors adapt the content to the group’s interests where possible.
