Course · Atlas Summer Courses

How can studying the past change the way we understand the present? History Explorers with Atlas Summer Courses is for ages 9–10 at Harrow School. Students explore ancient civilisations, important world events and influential historical figures through practical activities. They investigate historical questions and primary sources to understand how the past has shaped the present.
Experienced primary teachers bring ideas to life through games, practical tasks and group projects, encouraging children to ask questions and explain their discoveries. Tutors adapt the content to the group’s interests rather than following a fixed syllabus.
For ages 9–10, experienced primary teachers lead interactive, task-based learning. Multimedia presentations, games, problem-solving and group projects help students explore the subject through practical examples.
