Wadham College has a rich academic history, notably as the meeting place of scholarly scientists who eventually created the Royal Society in 1660. One of the most famous alumni of the college is Sir Christopher Wren, a world-renowned architect who designed buildings including St Paul’s Cathedral in London. Today, Wadham College is one of the largest in Oxford and admits over 600 students.
