Course Summary

This thought-provoking course empowers students to explore climate change, sustainable development, and global politics through real-world case studies, debates, and hands-on projects. Students will critically assess pressing environmental challenges and evaluate innovative responses from individuals, governments, and industries.

Working in teams, they’ll develop sustainability accords and design political campaigns to address ecological issues. The course encourages students to think deeply about their own role in shaping a more sustainable world while building key skills in public speaking, analysis, and leadership. Alongside academic exploration, students enjoy the inspiring experience of learning and connecting in the historic setting of Oxford.
