This programme is tailored for students aged 15-18 who want to expand their understanding of engineering in an intellectually stimulating setting.
Course Highlights
- Complete modules including Mechanical Engineering and Material Engineering. Learning happens in in-depth academic sessions, a personal project and 1:1 tutoring. The Graduation Ceremony in Boston marks the culmination of your Academic Insights programme in Boston. This elegant event features heartfelt speeches, the presentation of certificates, and a celebratory dinner. Participants have the unique opportunity to explore Boston’s historic landmarks, such as the Freedom Trail, Boston Common, and Harvard Square. Our programme includes a diverse range of activities to keep you engaged outside of class. From rowing on the Charles River and a Red Sox baseball game at Fenway Park to a relaxing afternoon at Boston Public Garden, there’s something for everyone. Our Engineering course covers a broad range of fascinating and complex topics, including mechanics, electrical systems, AI technologies, and renewable energy. You’ll also dive into innovative fields like robotics and aerodynamics. The course is designed to challenge your understanding and help you develop practical problem-solving skills. All participants will live in comfortable student accommodation at their chosen venue, in clean rooms and with adequate supervision. Where multiple campuses may be available (such as in Oxford or Cambridge), students will be allocated to a college a few weeks before arriving, based on their dates and subject choice.

We are delighted to offer all enrolled participants comprehensive summer school insurance for their chosen academic summer programme. This is included in the participation fee and is provided by Endsleigh Insurance. Learn more at https://www.immerse.education/programme-insurance/
Students will be supervised by their subject tutor during classtimes, and by mentors during their free time. Students will be part of a mentor family. A mentor family is a group of around 10 participants attending the programme in the same college but studying a variety of subjects. They are led by their mentor, a current undergraduate, who is there to answer any questions they may have about the programme or life at university. Mentors form the core of our pastoral care and are on hand to help participants throughout the programme. Participants will be sent an invitation to their mentor family group chat a few days before their programme is due to start, to introduce themselves and get to know each other before the programme begins.

Being able to learn new cultures. Make new friends and increase my knowledge on Engineering. I also picked u new habits which are good for my mental and physical well-being. This was an experience I will never forget and I will definitely be doing it again.
I really enjoyed the activities like casino night and werewolve. And I also really liked the practical sessions in class. The mentors were also very welcoming and nice to be around like annika, dami and robert. Also i really liked the tours and when we went to cambridge and oxford. Overall, I really like the fact that there was a balance between learning and fun.
The best part of my experience at immerse was the people. Everyone I met - mentors, professors, other students - were all so supportive, kind, and helpful. I was initially worried to be in a completely new environment alone but these people made this experience an amazing one I will never forget!
The best decision ever!!!I am glad that I decided to do a medical course with Immerse Education. I learnt so much in 2 weeks and I can truly say that I will never forget this experience.
