The UBC Sauder Business Academy, offered by the UBC Sauder School of Business, provides high school students with a unique opportunity to explore business, leadership, and entrepreneurship at one of Canada’s premier universities.
Each morning, students engage in the Business Fundamentals: Leadership for the Future course, building a strong foundation in essential skills.

In Business Fundamentals: Leadership for the Future, students will exploring the four core pillars of business—leadership, marketing, finance, strategy, and entrepreneurship—and learning how organizations create value, innovate, and grow. Through case studies, simulations, and collaborative projects, students develop the analytical, creative, and communication skills essential for success in any future career. Guest speakers from industry and alumni mentors provide insight into real-world challenges and opportunities across business fields.
By the end of two-weeks, students will understand how business drives innovation and problem-solving across industries. Equipped with a strong foundation and practical skills in business, they will be ready to apply what they have learned to their future education and career paths, while building a network of friends and peers from around the world.
