Course Summary
Students study the evolution of cities, examining how urban design has addressed challenges from the past and present. Through case studies and field visits, they explore how modern cities like New York aim to become more sustainable, inclusive, and environmentally conscious.
Course Highlights
- Breakfast in the dining hall
- Classes on topics as diverse as Criminology or Finance and Business meet in classrooms, labs, studios, or out and about in New York
- Students can choose to have lunch at any local restaurants or sandwich shops in town
- Three afternoons a week, classes meet again. When there is no class, they are free to join in organized activities or trips and tours in and around New York
- Dinner in the dining hall
