Course Summary
The Bucksmore IELTS Preparation course aims to build strong fluency and enhance English oral and written communication skills through a fun and dynamic language curriculum.
Students study 25 hours of IELTS Preparation per week to develop their English skills and prepare for the IELTS exams through a variety of engaging sessions, covering examination technique across Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing papers.
Our course also builds strong interpersonal skills such as teamwork, creativity, and confidence through project-based learning and mentorship.
Student progress is tracked and assessed continually throughout the course, and biweekly mock IELTS examinations will be marked and tailored feedback given to student from our specialist IELTS tutors. At the end of the course, students take the IELTS UKVI Academic examination at a central London test centre.

- An IELTS Preparation summer camp in London is designed to equip students with the skills needed to excel in the IELTS exam
- At Bucksmore, students receive focused training on all aspects of the test: reading, writing, listening, and speaking
- The programme includes continuous assessment to track progress and boost exam confidence
- Alongside lessons, students enjoy cultural excursions in London, allowing them to practise English in real-world contexts, enhancing both their test readiness and fluency
Whats Included
- Weekly excursions 2 full days and 1 half day
- 20 hours per week
- Course fees are all-inclusive airport transfers, insurance, meals, entrances to attractions, academic materials, so the only additional costs should be flights and spending money.

You might explore London's famous sights such as Big Ben and the London Eye, experience a private tour of Oxford or Cambridge University, or enjoy a quintessentially British seaside experience!
You'll be staying in King's College London, a vibrant and bustling campus in central London. Accommodation is located in University student residence across Waterloo Bridge and amongst iconic London landmarks such as the London Eye. Flats are equipped with communal kitchens and single, ensuite rooms.

Yes, airport transfers are included in our pricing if students are arriving and departing on a Tuesday when their course starts/ends. We can only offer free transfers to/from Heathrow and Gatwick airports, between the hours of 9am-7pm. If students are travelling outside of those parameters, we can arrange a private transfer at an additional cost.

From arrival to departure, our students are looked after by trained Bucksmore staff. If studying at KCL for instance, even when walking between accommodation and study buildings, students are guided by our staff so they are never roaming alone.
