Course Objectives
Over the course of this two-week programme, you will:
- Explore advanced concepts in political theory, including types of governance and elections
- Discuss trends in globalisation and the issues faced by global integration
- Investigate the causes of political conflict and instability, both locally and globally
- Take part in our Time to Shine project, in which you will participate in an election campaign
- Develop and apply core 21st-century skills through fun and engaging lessons, including critical thinking, communication, creativity and collaboration

Accommodation
All of our students will live on-site at an Oxford university college in comfortable accommodation in a mixture of single and shared rooms. Bathroom facilities will be shared between accommodation blocks. All rooms come with Wi-Fi access.
Extracurricular Activities
Alongside a wide range of traditional team sports, students can choose to participate in other wellbeing and fun activities such as yoga, art, poetry and creative sessions. Our social programme is led by the College Mentors with students at the very heart of it, who choose and shape the programme’s activities around their interests.

Taking place across three different Oxford campuses, SBC Oxford College gives students the chance to improve their English skills by studying one of the six subjects on offer.
