Course Summary
The classroom is at the heart of your Mile End, London Junior English Course. English Lessons are student-centred and encourage the development of relevant language skills. Students are staying in one of the halls of residence in the student village, which is like a little village in itself. There are shops and a sports hall for students to enjoy, all within a short distance from one of the world’s most exciting cities.
- Taught by friendly and professional English teachers
- 20 x 45 minute lessons per week morning or afternoon
- Placement test on day 1 to ensure students in appropriate level
- Maximum 17 students per class
- Students will be placed in an international class with students of different nationalities
- Classrooms are a mixture of lecture theatres and standard style
- Classrooms are located in various buildings across the Mile End campus
- Curriculum with emphasis on communication skills
- Materials included as well as an end of course report and certificate
- Trinity exam preparation available
Accommodation
Our centre is located on the large modern city campus of Queen Mary University, just a short journey on the tube from central London. Students are staying in one of the halls of residence in the student village, which is like a little village in itself. There are shops and a sports hall for students to enjoy, all within a short distance from one of the world’s most exciting cities.
Extracurricular Activities
Each 14-night stay will include a total of 10 local accompanied visits to London with activities and 2 full-day excursions to other major cities such as Cambridge, Brighton and Canterbury. Transport for trips may be by private coach or public transport.
